Morongo casino and resort is just a few minutes down the road. They still had rooms available for all nights today. Just an option for those still looking for somewhere to stay.

rooms are reasonably priced as well (especially if you split it with a few people)

Just a few minutes? NOT!!! That is a bit away!!!! That is back in Cabazon. You are talking 50 minutes on a good day.

I'd say more like 30 and it definitely beats sleeping in your car.

According to Mapquest, the Morongo Casino in Cabazon is 42 miles away from the Polo Field.... that would make it OVER a 50 MINUTE drive each way to Stagecoach (not including traffic) and YES, there will be a lot of TRAFFIC to get in and to exit Stagecoach!!!
Kymery and I have stayed at the Morongo Resort in the past. While it is fun and a lovely place to stay the night, it is NOT the best option while you are attending the festival!
My first year at Stagecoach, I stayed at a resort in Palm Desert... my hotel was less than 20 miles away from the venue and it took us over an hour each way to get in and out of SC and to drive to our hotel ~~~ just so people know what to expect ;)

FYI on "Moron"go...don't even attempt to bring in any liquor in your bags, not even a cooler, they go thru it. They do not allow any type of outside liquor into the hotel.

Don't know if they're sold out already, but Homewood Suites in LaQuinta (Washington St) just re-opened about a month ago. Also there is Embassy Suites in Old Town LaQuinta...both are very close to the polo fields.

Strange. Google maps says its 35 miles. I assume I'll be able to go 70, having driven this freeway many times. No worries though. I'm just trying to give people an option. I mean Stagecoach all day and blackjack all night sounds like a good time to me.

Maybe from the city limit line but it is 42 from the polo grounds. My father lives one block from the grounds and it is not a quick jot to
morongo. I would commute from there to old own and that was 15 Min itselft with no traffic. Consider there will be an hour just to get out/ in the parking lot. Definately an option to stay there for ae but wouldn't give false info in distance and time
