BLUEGRASS JAM SCHOOL

I understand that in the family area of the vendors they will be running a Bluegrass Jam School to teach people about Bluegrass and how to jam. I saw this school in action at The Huck Finn Bluegrass Festival last year and it really looked like fun. I notice that in the FAQ we are not allowed to bring instruments in to the grounds....does that mean I can't take my guitar into the Jam School?
Has anyone attended the Bluegrass Jam School before?
WOndering what level they are at?
I am a beginner at Bluegrass.
