This is my first time camping at Stagecoach. I see that they say there are showers available. My question is are they the quarter showers? Is there a good time when there is not a line for showers? Also do they have plugs or anything for such things as blow dryers. If so are those hard to use because of the demand for them? Thanks for any advice you can give.

When you ask if they're quarter showers do you mean $.25 charge? If so, then no, they are free. My experience for the last two years is to shower in the evening instead of the morning. Much less crowds.

Yes there are showers, they are free and they are open:
friday 8pm-2am only
saturday 6am-noon & 8pm-2am
sunday 6am-noon & 8pm- 2am
monday 6am-10am
(hours subject to change without notice)

The shower trailers also have electrical outlets

Someone else is sure to chime in, but I'm pretty sure the showers are mobile trailers - with probably 6-8 "stalls" with shower curtains and maybe a bench or two and hooks on the wall for your towel.

Here's what I found on the Camping FAQ page:

Will there be free bathrooms/showers? Handicap accessible? Private?
Yes, there will free bathrooms and free showers available. Separate M/F trailers (with individual privacy) and there will be handicap accessible facilities for both as well.
Are There Showers? What hours can you use the showers?
Yes there are showers, they are free and they are open:
friday 8pm-2am only
saturday 6am-noon & 8pm-2am
sunday 6am-noon & 8pm- 2am
monday 6am-10am
(hours subject to change without notice)
Will there be electrical outlets?
There will be cell phone charging stations in the Cyber Cafe in El Dorado 1. The shower trailers will also have electrical outlets.

Cool thanks girls. I saw the FAQ I just wasnt sure how many, and how long the wait was or if there was a good time to go.

I saw that about the outlet. I was just curious if people knew from prior years if it was impossible to use them because everyone else wants to use them too.

Thanks again!!!!! :D

I WILL say that the wait in the morning, unless you are there RIGHT when they open, is a LOOOOOOOONG time. Like hours. I tried on Saturday after the concert, it was about midnight or so. After waiting in line for 30 minutes I snuck into the mens and got right in. I've heard there ARE times when there isn't much of a line. My suggestion is to bring lots of baby wipes!

I totally took advantage of late showering and didn't have to wait not even once. Ohhhh and it feels so good to sleep freshly showered. :)

I DON'T THINK IT IS AS BAD IN THE RV AREA AS IN THE TENTS SEEING THAT THE RVS HAVE A BUILT IN SHOWER

I heard there will be 25% more people this year - that should add some time! My RV shower was built for Southern Midgets (sorry...Vertically Challenged Rednecks) and my fat A$$ is pushing the space limits. Plan on making it work and will use the trailers to save water if there is no line!

The Showers weren't too bad and you had a choice there were communal showers and three fully private showers . . . but yeah it was about an hr wait each morning . . . oh as for outlets - check by the lights - I brought a little mirror and found outlets at the base of the lights. There are also some in the round area with the palm trees.

Thanks guys. This is what I needed to know. Maybe I will just wake up early early take a shower and go back to the tent and pass out. Three hours for a shower sounds so crazy. I will defianlty stock up on the baby wipes that is for sure.

So have any of you people with RV's thought of charging people to use your water for a shower. If I had the chance I would so pay to shower than wait in line for a shower. That interfers with your drinking time :)
