View Full Version : Whats the difference in E1 and E2?

I went to SC last year but I was in a tent. Im going in an rv this year and Im not really sure what the difference is between E1 and E2. Are we allowed in 1 and not the other? I know the tent area is blocked off.:confused:

EDI is closer to the festival entrance and has electrical hook-ups and water hook-ups (that's what you're paying extra for). EDII is a bit further and you don't have hook-ups but can still run your generator and use the water from your storage tank. I've also been told that if you run out of water, there is a water truck that will fill you up for about $75.

No water hook ups in ED-1 (still $1/gal to buy it). ONLY ELECTRICITY. Also some other big difference are , EDII has no curfew, EDII is $500 less, and EDII is sold out. Good luck getting an EDII site... If you like living on the edge, i garauntee there will be people selling their RV campsites at the last minute. Just keep checking this forum if you cant get it through ticketmaster. Good Luck.

Hahahah funny "CURFEW" Was there really one in EDI? I have camped in EDI twice and never been shut down, or told to quiet down at all. I heard the boom speakers pounding to all hours. Besides, EDI is only 30' away...so you can hear all them also.

I've only been tent camping but if my info is correct I do not believe there is a curfew for either ED1 or ED2 just for some other campsite that I cant remember the name of. But as long as im allowed in ED2 to have fun all night if ED1 isnt "poppin" then im a happy camper.

They made me turn my music off all four nights at 2am last year. My music was really loud though and I didnt mind that much turning it off. I just post this incase people think they will be able to blast the radio all night in ED1 you might get shut down at 2am according to the rules.

I was just being silly. Talking about the difference betweeen the two, saying there's not a difference where the party is concerned. I'm just saying I don't care what they call the lot just hand me a beer......:p
