I read about the locations for pick ups etc, but where do they drop off. Last year took a taxi - thinking that was smart - and the drop off was soooo far from entrance. I know my sister cannot walk that far. Is there anyway of being dropped of at entrance without parking our car on site?

You can't be dropped off at entrance even if you park.

But at least the parking lot is closer to the entrance. The taxis dropped us off down on a corner and we had to walk quite far to even get to the parking lot entrance. I was just wondering if the shuttles drop off in the parking lot.

I would doubt it. It is hard to get in there...unless they work out an agreement with SC to let in shuttles...which would be an awesome idea. We walked faster than that darn "thomas the train" shuttle they had two yrs ago. So many people walking on the road (which is dirt) so traffic wont move anyway for the shuttle.

last year my mom couldnt walk very well either but if you get to where the RV camping starts they have plenty of people on pedicabs. Take one of those. Its fast.

I was JUST going to suggest one of those. For like $5 or $10 bucks you can get one of those people to pull you in. I MIGHT have to do that for my mom, not sure.

Is it a set price . . . I thought it was just a tip set-up but I could be wrong because I didn't use that last year.

In response to the question re shuttles and "where do they drop off?" Here is the info from the stagecoach web site: "VMT Shuttles offer backstage drop off locations to minimize the walking in and out of the festival".

I am available to transport from PS Airport, Indio Greyhound, Lake Cahuilla or your local hotel. Able to stop at store for you if you desire. Reasonable. Leave me a message, text or call if I may help you. Thanks and enjoy your weekend.
