Is there a place to buy Alcohol Friday? I see the rules so 'NO ALCOHOL' and the Campers 'can' be searched. Is this one of those 'Red Cup' rules that I need to abide by? Never been to Stagecoach, so someone please set this rookie straight!
Thanks - Jason.

Wanted to add that if you're camping, they do search you and HARD. They will look through an ice chest full of water and find a non-sealed one full of vodka and make you take it back to the car or throw it out. Same with inside chair bags and tent bags. IF you manage to get it inside, you're fine, red cup it. They have places that sell drinks inside the camping forum for an arm and a leg.

Chev...I assume you are talking about Tenting??? I have been every year and NEVER been searched in my RV. I have only heard of a handfull who have. My RV has WAY toooo many hiding places anyway for them to find my liquor. I even have a safe in my RV I can hide some in. I agree with the Tent camping this past year (years before they didnt search tenters either)
The only place you can buy liquor INSIDE the camping area is at the Polo bar during their hours of business, and you have to drink it there...and not cheap.

Yes, camping (tent camping). LOL, to me that's what camping is, in a tent. Probably cuz I've never owned or slept in an RV. For RV's I usually specify, but precisely, I meant the tent camping forum.

Hahah...I agree, but I have earned my RV now. Although we do tent it on occasion.
I will leave that "walk" up to the experts when it comes to tenting, but either way, there are those guys who peddle their arses off for ya!

so as far as the camping goes do they search you every time to go to your tent or just when you first get there?

If you go back to the parking lot, they will search you again when you come back in. It's the same entrance.

Back onto the RV camping site...if we have a group that has 'red cups' are they going to give us trouble Friday Night or at other times? Anyone have experience in this area? I wasn't talking about getting alcohol in - not worth it to me. I just want to enjoy a few beverages in/outside my RV without the 'fear' of Johnny Law and rent-a-cops giving me a hassle. Sorry, I am blonde, but I don't understand. You are saying it is not worth it to you to get alcohol in? Then how are you gonna pour it into your red cup?
There are red cups everywhere! I have been told to drink it in my RV space and not walk around, and others times we are walking around with them. Don't over worry or think it, As long as you are respectful then you will be fine.

Ah, I see your question now. No, you won't get hassled. It's not actually illegal to drink there I don't believe, since the tent camping forum actually SELLS alcohol. But I can pretty much guarantee you are TOTALLY fine drinking alcohol, especially in red cups. Nothin to worry bout! And I'll be there Thursday, so I'm almost def in. Stay tuned for a spreadsheet that will help us figure out who and where everyone will be to meetup, k?

The tent forum actually sells alcohol? Where? Even in the RV lots you can only buy at the Polo Bar and you cant take in or out from there.

Kinda hard to sell anything from a forum, They do have a tent and area where you can buy drinks, but it is pricey, 10 bucks a beer if I remember right and they or only open some of the time.

you have the wrong idea....cornhole is a game that involves two wooden boards with a hole in them set a certain distance apart two teams of two stand at either board with 3 1 lb bags of corn each and the object is to get the bags in the hole but you also get points for how many bags you have on the board and the boards are slanted so its harder to judge...its a simple and really fun game!

even if you where walking around drinking it strait from the can they wont say anything to you last year i was drinking my beer talking to the cops they dont care its not like they want to arrest you or give you a ticket there just there to make sure nothing gets out of hand during the day and come the evening you hardly even see them. i have heard story's of officers getting off shift and joining the party after they change. so don't worry because everyone will be consuming alcohol :D:D:D

There's a difference? I thought "cornhole", "bags", and "bean bags" were all interchangeable. I've heard the same sport called all three by different people in the same game before.

For the bags - I will try and put a 'CHEESEHEAD' on the top of my RV for a reference point. Arriving Friday afternoon so I don't know how close I will be. Probably have 2 sets of boards (one Green Bay Packer) so we shouldn't be that difficult to find. Our 'So Cal' League rules are pretty easy...2 bags, each person takes a turn. 3 pts in the hole, 2 over the center line, 1 on the bottom. Bags offset each other (6-4 scores 2, etc). Play to 21. Tourney play you can go over 21, heads-up challenges you have to hit 21 exactly or go back to 15. Last player to score throws first. Pretty simple, and a great way to kill time and drink some beers! We are building a nice little crew thus far - the more the merrier!

Oh yeah, last year when we were resigned to drinking in the parking lot (due to alcohol restrictions for the tent campers forum) the cops there were totally cool. One of them said they were gonna come back and party with us once they got off.

It is grass...but dead grass, and it gets into everything! Cut very very short..down to the dirt. But at least it is level. Your body/feet will be filthy within an hour for sure. Bring wipes to clean them with over and over.

Go Bears! I can't seem to break the habit of referring to Chicago as home even though I have lived in California for over 20 years and there is no way I would ever move from San Clemente. oh well...bad habits die hard.
