What time is a good time to arrive on Thursday for RV Camping in EDII

The earlier the better so your RV can be closer to the venue entrance. Last year I got there around 4:00 and there was already a line to get in.

I thought you got closer to the entrance the LATER you are....least that's how everyone else was saying the fill it up....I personally have no clue though.

From my recolection, they were lining them up front to back.
Hmmmm maybe I was already drunk? haha Or dyslexic.

Burt will have yours already set up ahead of time. He has a crew that will bring them up and set them up probably before you all get there.. pretty neat, too!!! then he'll come back and show you how to work everything.

Nice. I hope they put them in two rows facing each other. I think that would be perfect.

not sure they can do that.. you may be all in a row, but if the trailer doors are all on the right side.. they will all face that way with the trailer hitch in front. It won't be an issue tho, after the first night you'll have a common hang out spot.

That's why I wanted to be there when they deliver them. Maybe we can convince them to spin two around. That would give us a huge area to play in.
ESPECIALLY since we won't have any hookups to worry about...........will we?

Oh I'm definitely planning on being there when they're delivered. I would like whoever can make to be and I'm gonna ask if we can meet them offsite first to go over details :)

Well, since I have one of the tickets for the spot, I'd like to be there with you. What do you think?

Is getting to EDII Friday at 6pm the worst idea ever? I'm not in charge of the trailer, so I can't completely call the shots.

Well....maybe not ever....but not the BEST time to arrive. But who cares, you'll get drunk fast, mett up with a bunch of cool people and have fun.

fair enough... next question: do they search RVs? Is bringing in a keg risky? It'd sure save some $$

They CAN search RV's, pretty sure they don't search ALL of them. You are allowed one case of beer per person in this year (last year it was no alcohol at all). I would say do it at your own risk but you may have to take it out and leave it in your car if worse comes to worse....

But...others on here would say go for it. I'm just extra cautious like that!

How ya gonna keep it cold? You would spend more on ice there than just bringing canned beers. There were a few RV's with the tap built into the wall of their haulers. There are sooo many hiding cubbies in RV's they cant check them all. I have never been searched in 4 years. And never watched anyone get searched. But watch, KARMA is always around me!

I DONT THINK I WOULD BRING A KEG JUST IN CASE THEY DO SEARCH BUT IN YEARS PAST THEY HAVEN'T SEARCHED RVS

IF YOU CAN GET THEM TO MEAT YOU OFF SITE YOU SHOULD PUT ALL YOUR S&@T IN THE TRAILERS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRUCK IT IN AND STACH YOUR ALCOHOL EVERYWHERE IF I WHERE A BETTING MAN WITCH I AM I WOULD BET THAT THERE NOT GOING TO SEARCH THE RENTALS BECAUSE IF IT WHERE ME I WOULDN'T THINK THAT PEOPLE WOULD STASH THING IN THE RENTAL YET

Well, now that the cat is out of the bag.....

Hi, welcome.

You may want to do some searching on here. There are tons of posts on this. This year they are saying that whomever has a festival ticket can get into the campgrounds.

If you went last year, they handed you your "allowed" quantity when you pulled in.
