They didn't give a pre-sale code. Go into www.countrythrowdown.com and click on "news" and it will take you through the steps. I just bought 2 more and got Orch.3 row A - guess nobody has heard about it!

Oops, you probably got J because i had the G tickets locked up considering it. They should be available again now! And IDK if this is a scam or not, but I've looked at Livenation and Ticketmaster and they don't seem to show this event!

If you look on the artist's websites @ their tour dates - you will see that this is for real. I don't think ticketmaster is handling the ticket sales! I mostly question the low ticket price.
Country Throwdown also has a facebook page if you want to see what others are saying.

Did anyone check out the "Megaticket?" Some of the cities for Country Throwdown have the Megaticket offer and it includes the same seat to a number of other shows at the same venue. I clicked the megaticket button next to Irvine and a page popped up and that page didn't have Irvine. Maybe they're just not on sale yet. BUT...if it is offered for Irvine, I suggest jumping on it!

I was at a show there once in June and was in little shorts and a tank top and don't remember it being cold at all. It was an ALL day festival as well. I could be wrong, but yeah, pretty sure it wasn't cold. Of course the weather down here is so sporadic, you never know!

Yes, I did!! ZBB was maybe the best concert I've ever been to. It was 4 hours of nonstop music!!! Talk about musicians...they have got serious talent on those instruments!!!

I have, at WEenie Roast. There were 2 stages. The smaller one is in what looks like a parking lot inside the venue (a bit of a hike from the Main Stage). It will definitely be more intimate, or should be....

BTW, for those who have never been, Verizon WIreless is HUGE. Very spread out.

You're right, they're nowhere near the main stage, at least in my experience there. I wonder if you can bring in a chair? Like buy a cheap $5 at Wal-Mart and just leave it there once you move to the main stage? I'll do it!

Dang, as always, can't see youtube. I saw Jerrod Nieman when he played the little private lounge at Staples before Brad Paisley back in February. This was back before he was on the radio. Nice guy, got his autograph and pics taken with him and we chatted about my son for a minute. Glad to see him rising the ladder!

Fudge! TG I think is screwed outta her SD show and depending when work books my flight for Michigan, I may be screwed outta the Bako show. That's the whole reason I couldn't go to Irvine is that I was supposed to fly out the day after at about 6am. Since I got tickets for Bako, I told them I could even leave Saturday...but now that show is Friday. I'm a dork - half the reason I don't wanna go to such a long/late show the night before I leave is A) I'm a last minute packer and like taking it easy before I head out and work literally 24/7 for 6 weeks and B) My dog! I already have to leave her for so long, I don't wanna add another day to it! :(

These are the tickets we purchased the minute the concert was announced. These might be the commemorative tickets. Not sold by TM or Live nation, but probably from the promoter? Tickets were later sold on Ticketmaster, which have the typical tickemaster look

Depending on the first act, I honestly don't wanna go in until later. So if I wanna see the 1pm act, I'll go in around 12:30. It's gonna be a LONG day in the heat, and I'd rather not have to race to get there and sit around if not necessary. Only cuz I know that venue and I've been there/done that and it is....HOT. :D

Ryan Bingham cancelled the last few shows of the tour on the same day that Country Throwdown announced they were cancelling 4 shows. Being that he grew up in Texas ~ I'm thinking he wasn't too happy about BOTH the Houston & Dallas shows being cancelled.:confused:
He was the one I was most excited about seeing. I've pretty much seen everybody else ~ except for the new singer/songwriters.
I'm still lovin' the line-up and my seats!! Just really dissappointed that Ryan won't be there:(

They were definitely verifying handicapped placards that time! We were freaking out trying to hide drinks - and were suprirsed when they asked about THAT!

You're right - they did get some people.... I want to say they were in their car smoking things they shouldn't have been smoking....but the cops were definitely making their rounds!

They've always been strict on handicapped parking there. My friend and I went and she has her placard and checked her ID or whatever too before we could even turn the car off.


It wasn't to scare anyone from trying it! :) You never know....but you're right - going all out to get shut down would suck. But then not doing it - and other people ARE there grilling, etc. - that would suck too! :confused:

I figure we bring our stuff and play it by ear. We won't get arrested for BBQing. Worse comes to worse they tell us to shut it down. We will have coolers and our food will keep I think.

We don't know the rules, we're just bringin everything and playin it by ear. You CAN bring backpacks in (at least I did when I went to Weenie Roast, had pants and stuff for night time. AS for weather, ti's in a cqanyon, supposed to be 75ish and it WILL get a bit hot. Maybe not DEATH hot, but where it's located is warmer than other parts of Irvine.
