Not going to the SD show, but going to the show in LA on the 12th though! I know IHML, Chevgirl and Festivalfan are also going....
Have fun - tell us how it is!

Dang, GSF you were there? I was too....!!! met up with Jaime between sets. long night, ugh, I'm tired.
Good show..first time seeing them as headliners and not opening acts. Went to their "Eat and Greet" at 5pm. Zac and his chef prepare dinner for his tour group, stage hands, family and fans. He mingled with all of us, chatted up a bit then sat down with HIS family and ate dinner. This is one of his traditions before performing.. everybody eats together.
Loved the show..he's moving up in the world. He played all the songs we know, plus songs from his new CD which he's still working on. I love all his music. There's something about him that I truly like. Humble and appreciative. Love his version of Devil Went Down to Georgia. He's very passionate about this song!!
Zac plays with his opening acts too which is pretty cool. He's a down home kind of guy, remembers his roots, his tough times, gives new comers a chance on stage and he remembers the troops. We were on the floor and the whole section were military guys who couldn't seem to get enough of his music. Every song got us on our feet. Never dull. I can't wait to see them again in LA next week.

Not sure how you guys feel about that show on CMT, Crossroads, but I love it. I just saw an ad for the next one, it's Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett. Although they're honestly quite similar musically and there won't be that much of a change to either's songs, I still think it will be pretty cool.

Thanks for the heads up...I love CMT. I put a reminder alert on the site for this special. I think these two will put on a great show. Can't put my finger on their similarities, but I think it will be good. Jimmy Buffet paired with Alan Jackson and it worked, Bon Jovi paired with Jennifer Nettles and it worked, too..ya just never know!
