Hey everyone! I'm Casey!! This will be my 2nd Stagecoach romp! I went in 07 but couldn't make it last year because my concert/party bud was deployed, and I wasn't about to go without her! I will be driving from San Diego, but I am originally from KY. My husband is a Marine so that's why I am so far away from home! I have always listened to country music as long as I can remember and I am really looking forward to seeing Reba, because she is one that I haven't seen in concert. I love most of the lineup though. I truly love almost all country!!

I still have an aunt & uncle that live in Radcliff. We took the 80 from Nashville through last year. You know an old southern tradition is to go decorate graves for Memorial Day so my family packs the town of Hazard. I can't make it this year.

thats impressive. i did something similar last summer. went by myself on a 3k mile road trip. no RV, just me the dog and a 4 cyl toyota corolla. we stayed at KOA camps and other campgrounds for dirt cheap. SOOO much fun!!!

Maybe. She doesn't want to try to lay down and rest when she's not tired. Then at the end of the day, she just crashes suddenly. One minute go, go, go.....the next minute out cold.

Maybe the threat of making her lay down on the blanket in front of everyone while the show is going on will be incentive enough to make her rest in the afternoon. She's at that age where that could seriously work. Hmmm.

Told munchkin yesterday we had ourselves a bit of a dilemna and I wanted to get her input. She said she didn't want us to have to leave before I was ready because this is my weekend. I never go out, as in never, and she wants me to have my fun!:) She asked me to pick her up some ear plugs so she can sleep in the middle of thousands of screaming people. Her words, not mine.

Problem is, and she pointed this out to me because I hadn't thought of it, she can not sleep in the day time. Doesn't matter how tired, how sick, she can't do it. So she said if she gets too tired before I get to see at least some of Kenny on Sunday she'll lay down on our blanket with some ear plugs.

Got to love kids when they're accomodating huh? Heaven knows it so rarely happens....

As far as I know, i will have five extra passes. I get 8, right? And there three of us staying in our fifth wheel. Still looking for more, if anyone needs a place to crash...or just needs to use us for our RV passes -- whatever! I still don't have my GA admission ticket so I would trade for that.

Last but not least, our truck (Ford F250) that pulls our fifth wheel is in the shop until April 22! I blew a tire, spun out (in a major intersection, thank you very much!) but did not hit anyone!!! Praise God! It still caused $3900 in damage to the truck, so I told the service manager that I NEED THAT TRUCK by April 24!!!

Wow... what a great prize to win. There's so much to say about Stagecoach..one post won't cover it..We'll all post suggestions, so start your list as you read. Depending on when you arrive and where you're staying..but its 2 days on great country music. Lots of people...let me say fun, friendly people. Country music people are just that way. Read the posts here....camping info, what to bring, weather watch, FAQ's and lots of great tips from veterans. Be sure you read the website, too. Very good info.

Oh man...am I the only one not looking forward to Kid Rock? I saw him open up for Aerosmith a few years ago at the Hollywood Bowl. In the beginning and middle of each song he has to remind you who he is "My name isssss KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, Kid ROCK!" but he does it a lot! I swear he played a full set as an opener! oy!

It's never too late! I'm Karena, btw, and I live in Costa Mesa, so we're neighbors. We're gonna have a thread tomorrow for what to look for in identifying everyone.
