Will we be able to bring in the misters we bought in 2009 to SC10?

Are they doing the refillable water bottles this year? Can we bring in the bottles we bought last year?

Anyone know the answers to these questions yet?

if you ask me.... the answer is yes..lol
sometimes I'd just rather ask for forgiveness rather than permission, at least that's what I tell my director.. ha ha

I was able to bring my mister that I got in 08 last year...so I'm assuming I'll be able to bring it again...

The refillable water bottles though - not sure...I'll probably pack mine just in case. If I can find it! ha!

Any updates on whether they are going to let us bring out misters we bought last year? I know they allowed it last year, but are they this year? I do not want to have to buy another one.

I figure it can't hurt to try.

I already have mine from last year in my "packing pile" (along with my SC refillable water bottle).

I didn't buy it last year until Sunday - I sure hope they let me bring it in...but if they don't, I'll be buying one as soon as the gates open on Saturday - along with the refillable water! THAT was the best deal of last year - free COLD refills all weekend long!

pretty sure they will want you to buy the new version of the water bottle for the free refills...it is a business after all.

Last year Carly brought hers in. It just had to be empty upon bringing it in.

this is from the coachella site, guessing stagecoach will be the same:

WATER PROGRAM
In an effort to drastically reduce waste we are re-launching a filtered water program at Coachella in 2010.

Our mission is to cut back on the amount of plastic water bottles sold at the show.

Purchase a Souvenir Coachella container - receive free cold filtered water all weekend at the water program filling stations. There are refill locations located inside the venue & event areas. You can purchase containers at each of these locations along with at the merchandise tent and the general store in camping. Please see the map for locations or ask a festival staff member. *please note, you may not leave a beer garden or any bar area with a full container. So fill up after you leave that area.

Haha that's the frase I live my life by. On the mister thing I don't belive that they had a year and or date so as long as that vender is there I'm sure they will let you bring them in

Refillable water bottles were $10 - white plastic pop-top and FREE COLD REFILLS!!!

Mister was, um, $10? With limited free refills, I think. But definitely worth it for BOTH!

So someone in my group emailed the Stagecoach people to ask if we can bring the water bottles from last year. They said you can as long as they are empty. They also said they are not having the refilling stations this year. Is there any truth to this? Doesn't make sense if they are having them at Coachella but not Stagecoach.

then why would you bring an empty water bottle in if there are no refilling stations??? Just drink more beer...solves the problem.

I think I'm going to buy a mister this year. I remember last year there were some kids that were charging for sprays with their misters. Probably a little less cute if I try it, but maybe it could pay for some beer?

The kids around us last year were raking in the money from the drunk guys around us...of course it helped that they were adorable little girls (with Mom and Dad keeping a watchful eye). The kids had a blast finding willing recipients to spray :)

Some guy last year kept spraying us, we didn't want to be srpayed I was about ready to kick him, one of the people he was with finally got him to stop.

Yeah, that's what I kept telling my kid - WATCH where you're spraying that thing! Not everyone wants to get wet!

But I do have to say, around 4 p.m. on Sunday that mist sure did feel good!

Bumping this one up, too!

Does anyone know if they are doing the refillable water bottle program this year?

And what about the misters?

Inquiring minds are trying to budget :)
