I have included the Stagecoach festival in my trip through the US in April - any advice to two Australian country music fans?

The Empire Polo Grounds, where the festival is held, are in the desert. It's hot, dry and dusty during the day at that time of year, windy from sundown through the night. Major drop in temperature after the sun sets. Dress for hot during the day and have a backpack/bag with long pants/jacket that you carry in so you can stay warm for the night time acts.
Lots of water. And then more water. Stay hydrated. Party, have fun, just be smart and eat regularly and drinks LOTS of water.
Go through these boards and all the pages on the festival website. There is a lot of good information that will give you a good idea of what to expect. Look at the pictures that are posted on the website, specifically the virtual tour to get an idea of the scenery.
Expect the unexpected, don't forget your tickets and your camera. Go with the flow and SMILE! Enjoy the festival, I do not believe you will be disappointed! Welcome to the family!!!:p:D
