Im in! Like this thread. Never seems like a lot of ED1 people on this board. We'll see...

Got BIG plans for our spot this year... I will be using every bit of my 1000 sq ft. Be there thursday night settin up in the dark again. I only pray that i can get an end spot in the middle isle like i did last year. Might have to do some special ops recon whiskey tango to make it happen again. Stay tuned for pics of the rig i am building... for now i will just say it involves me selling my jetskis, the full use of my limited welding and carpentry skills, and a whole lot of eye rolling from my reasonably supportive wife. Pics to come late March on this thread only.

actually, I think you were at the other end of the row...weren't you close to the venue lineup/entrance aisle by the shower trailers?...he was in the middle aisle, other side of the road...he was in line w/an RV that had a band on the roof...did you hear/see them?...anyway, you were close by

Tiki Bar - Shmiki Bar! That was my rookie year at stagecoach. I might have had a good showing, but nowhere close to what i have planned this year. A tiki bar and a kiddie pool just wont do it. Now that i have seen what what i have to work with out there and what we can and cannot do.....

This weekend I got a full saturday dedicated for the dub t project. Im walking a fine line between focus and obsession. Ive acutally created a schedule and a budget to keep me on track (I know... Pathetic) The only people that could possibly understand this are you guys. Quiting smoking was easier than not thinking about stagecoach.

I have an electrical question. I have purchased the 50 amp spot and the site write up says bring an extension cord. Are the electrical posts within reach of the standard 50 amp cords or is this a main hub system where I may need more than 20-25 feet of cord?

They lay out spider boxes for you to plug into in between the tail end of the rigs. I can only speak for the 30 amp area, there was four outlets per box that four rigs shared. I needed a cord because i parked my rig furthest from the center (my choice). If your cord reaches to one end or the other of your RV you should be fine, it was pretty user friendly once they got everything set up. (it was a bit of a clusterfock at first) VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU GET THE RIGHT SIZE EXTENSION CORD!!! For people that dont know this, you will need a 30amp chord if you plan to use all 30 amps. A 30amp cord is not a typical extension cord and is much bigger than your average cord. Average ext. cords are usually 15amp tops. If you plan to run your AC, microwave, lights, hairdryer, crockpot, toaster, etc... all at the same time, you will blow the circuit with a undersized extension cord. And when you blow the circuit, it effects all your neighbors plugged into that box. (it happened a lot last year) For 50amp, there is a completely different set up with phasing and other electrical jargon that I don’t really know, but I know for sure you will need a 50amp extension cord to make it work.

I'm Bringing a Whole crew of people in my RV that have never camped at stagecoach yet!! So we Heard last year that ED1 is the place to be! Hope everybody is ready to party with me and my girls!

I'm new to this and also hauling the trailer on my own for the first time! Glad to hear everyone is sooo helpful! So what do you do for water? Are there connections or do you fill up before heading over and just haul the extra weight? Husbands are gone fishing so we couldn't get them to come along!

You need to fill up before you go. They have water trucks, but they aren't cheap.
