This will be my first visit to the Stagecoach Festival and I am so excited. Not only to experience the festival, but to also get out of Chicago after a long winter for vacation! I have VIP tickets in section 1, directly in front of the stage...can anyone please tell me if seats are provided in this area or do I need to bring my own folding chairs? I tried viewing a lot of the photos on this website but could not tell. I did however see hundreds of people with what I am assuming is their own folding (camping type) chairs thus my inquiry.
Thanks,
Garry

it is reserved seating and yes seats are provided...you even get to take home your chair at the end of the weekend :)
the people you see with their own chairs are in the general admission area.
you will be where the red seats are:

There are so many empty red seats because they are so over-priced. Gets worse every year.

Yeah..I agree....we were given free tickets to the Eagles to help fill seats. Also, during the day since people have seats they opt to not see the opening acts..I dont get that though. I was there from the first act. It fills up at night. and empties towards the end of the show too.

there are other stages and other things to do besides sitting on your ass all day.

Also for some reason a lot of seat people arrive very late. I think they are scared of the earlier artists.

Thanks for the info Cooter and gaypalmsprings along with the photos. I must admit, I had a little buyers remorst purchasing VIP tickets, especially in this economy but I am treating this as my vacation so what the heck.
so lucky to have section 1... how did you get that??
You all complain when we are not sitting in our seats because we are out and about eating BBQ, going to the other stages, taking belt buckle pictures :p , going to the bathroom or buying drinks. Then you complain that people sit in their seats the whole time and don't enjoy the festival. Please make up your minds.
