Howdy guys, first time heading to the Stagecoach Festival but pretty excited about it. My question is that I have general admission tickets and after looking at some pictures of how big this darn thing is can you even get a good view from general admission seats? Also what can I expect from the weekend such as what'll be going on and anything else to look forward to about the whole weekend?? Look forward to yalls responses!

You will get a good view of the monitors, thats about it. GA is more for listening and hanging with good friends.

Last year, we sat at the beer garden and could see the monitors pretty good. I guess the key is to get there as early as possible to get a good spot.

thanks..great timing! I was just about to purchase GA TICKETS. with only a few seats left in back at 500 each. I will go ahead and put up the price for 1 day in order to view artist (with binoculars of course). I just hope Keith and Toby will be on stage on Saturday. I saw Keith Urban yesterday in Pasadena. My first country concert. I am converted! No more Rock&Roll for me

Hey, I was trying to not scare them away!! hahahaha. I know, I could not even see the monitors and I was right up the center and not far from the back row of the seats!! I gave up on the main stage and headed out to the others.

You wont be able to see the artists from their either!! everyone stands anyway and you cant see over their heads. I was 12th row two yrs ago and could barely see due to the little teenage brats in front of us that would just stand to piss all of us off.

We then had about 20th row for the Eagles and could not see crap, only the monitors. So if spending 500 to see monitors is worth it and you have the cash to fork out for a souvenier seat....?? Just my opinion. I would only buy if in the first 15 rows now that I have experienced it.

Hang out at the smaller stages. Skip the screens.

I agree with what everyone else has said... it was too windy last year for them to have the monitors down so we could not see anything from our GA seats. We ended up upgrading to VIP to the next day which was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it

Really? I could see the monitors just fine, and even the stage.

monitors were great, without them I would have never seen what or who was on stage!! I gave up expecting to have a great seat to watch a performer, there's so much going on around you, in the venue at the other stages at the BBQ booths, that the music on stage just becomes music to listen to. It's the experience of Stagecoach...everything.

OMG...Loved Kid Rock, but everything else about his set scared the crap outta me! Riots almost broke out at the bathrooms and could NOT get back to our chairs/group to save our lives!

get there early. and pick a strategic spot that you can see from, and find your way BACK to... even in the dark.

very good advice!! sucks not being able to get back to your spot in the dark when you have to step on 100 blankets and say "im sorry, excuse me, pardon me, sorry, excuse me...pardon me, im sorry" a million times, all while carrying a beer in each and one in your teeth!:D

I flagged my spot because the "entrance" to our row was at the lemonade stand (thank God). People were cursing me as I was walking through their blankets but I really didn't care.

haha, what gets me is the people who don't even attempt to hit the edge of my blanket. I get it if you lose your step and land in the middle, but don't do it on purpose. Make an attempt!
