30 minutes before the auction closes....and there's an 'offer' to sell 1st row seats section 1, on Stub Hub for $1,995 for EACH SEAT:mad: . Printed a copy of it with the time on it.

I'm all for the 'free' market - but the price right now is a very healthy $930.00.

I'm just sort of venting here - something doesn't seem right.

Most likely the person assumed that the bid would not go much higher and they were willing to bid enough secure tickets. They could always withdraw the tickets from the broker they placed them with.

This one would be an easy one for the Festival Administrators to track since there were a limited number of tickets. It would be simple to check to make sure they were not secured by scalpers, as they say they are interested in doing.

After the whole auction and everything else going on with this "festival" I've decided I won't be attending. Usually the Ticketmaster auctions require the winners to pick the tickets at will call but I noticed for this particular auction the tickets would be mailed so that should make the scalpers happy. If it's anything like some of the recent shows I've been to the front row will be pretty empty cuz the scalpers can't hawk the tickets for their outrageous prices. The artists always enjoy seeing that empty first row - right? LOL
