BUYERS BEWARE....
Ok now get this. I was thinking that all the service fees were worked out and slowly everyone was getting a credit back until I was pulled my statement from another credit card (the one I used for the layaway plan last year) and BEHOLD, Goldenvoice (TICKETMASTER) has charged $139.50 on that card. I am not certain who gave them authorization to charge the card I used last year and NOT THIS YEAR but apparantly they feel that they can charge any card they like for whatever they like, no explanation, no nothing. I didn't receive any correspondence from them, I did not authorize them to charge this card that I used last year. In fact, I closed this account just yesterday as the credit union who gave it to me decided to up the APR by 5% so I told them to pound sand with their CC. But I was checking the balance online and I was in shock to find a charge from Goldenvoice on there. So at this point I am going to have to calculate the credits and debits to see what I have paid for my tix thus far. I just wanted to share this so that everyone can watch their credit cards for charges and credits and make sure you know what you are paying.... Ugggghhhh. This is getting to the point of not being worth going to Stagecoach... I am waiting to hear back from someone at GoldenVoice because they wouldn't talk to me, just told me AGAIN to email the info@stagecoachfestival.com.

That email addy goes to someone here who can look into it. They can give TM an earful for a wrong card being charged and get it fixed and get back to you. hang tight.

Countrygurl,
this charge is from Goldenvoice, not Ticketmaster. It has Goldenvoice's name and phone number next to it. Not Ticketmasters... I just want everyone to beware that they are charging last years cards as well. Some people may not check those cards, and they should be checking them. And so we can end the focus on Ticketmaster. When I had billing issues with my layaway plan last year, a person who works for Goldenvoice told me that they initiate the charge, not ticketmaster. When they billed my card wrong last year, I didn't call Ticketmaster to get it fixed, I spoke with Goldenvoice only. I don't care who fixes it, but really Ticketmaster is not responsible for every screw up, come on.

Yes i understand that but the system that runs all the ticketing is a ticketmaster system, they built it, they run it. It is linked to our credit charging company for our accounts. We give them the info to put into their system. The system isnt perfect. We are trying to have them fix the errors. This is why I am saying to email INFO@stagecoachfestival.com so we can look up the account and work with TM to fix the error. We don't know why they would link an old card to be charged. We are having it fixed. I am trying to think of as many ways as possible to type this so it is understood.

Any chance of someone posting what the service charges were supposed to be so that we can check and see if we were charged correctly. Right now everyone is confused because no one knows what they were supposed to be charged. I would think this would clear up alot of questions.

For example:
The service charge for ED2 tickets would be ????
The service charge for a GA weekend pass would be????
The service charge for a $499.00 reserved ticket would be?????

Also are the service charges per ticket or per purchase?

I am also going to post this under service charges thread.

you can run through the ordering process on ticketmaster to get the actual amount, just don't go through with the purchase on the last step.

there is an order processing fee that covers the entire order, no matter how much is purchased. each ticket has a convenience fee attached to it, too.
