Has anyone purchased their tickets on layaway? I tried today and the GA weekend pass comes out to $137... Is that right? $37 in fees? When I tried to just purchase tickets alone the fee was $21.10. Then I tried camping ticket only and I wasn't charged a fee for camping ticket alone. So confused.... Any thoughts

Because that was the only option they had under the layaway plan for some reason

That does not seem to be fair. I understand your final payment is just weeks before the concert but at least you should have the "no charge" will call option???

Yeah it seems like everything about the charges are excessive but what can we do when ticketmaster has a monopoly they can do whatever & we still go along with it

They credited $52 back today. Last week was just a bad week for any kind of card transaction I bought $305 in truck parts last wednesday. I got charged 3 times for 1 transaction by kragen got 1 fixed still trying to get the second 1 taken off thgats why I had to do the layaway on my tickets

I just now recieved the following email:
WE ARE STILL BUILDING ACCOUNTS. WE HAVE YOUR SPOT RESERVED. PLEASE BE
PATIENT. THANK YOU.
Sorry, but this is not very reliable. I know "they" may be busy, but "they" knew what was coming and should of had more manpower to handle this issue. Make the customers happy:D

The overcharged service charges are being credited back to people's accounts that were affected.
The $137 price thing is being fixed and credited back to people's accounts that were affected.
Totally agree about the man power. We are bewildered as to why things can't ever go smoothly when we plan this stuff out in advance.

weekend passes are $99. + whatever the service charges are. not $137. not sure why or how it got set up otherwise but it's being corrected and people's accounts are being credited automatically.

Any chance of someone posting what the service charges were supposed to be so that we can check and see if we were charged correctly. Right now everyone is confused because no one knows what they were supposed to be charged. I would think this would clear up alot of questions.
For example:
The service charge for ED2 tickets would be ????
The service charge for a GA weekend pass would be????
The service charge for a $499.00 reserved ticket would be?????
Also are the service charges per ticket or per purchase?
I am also going to post this under service charges thread.

Tickets were $107 ($99 + venue fee <or something> + charity) and THEN the ticketmaster fees on top of that. Sounded like the $107 was from GV, NOT TM fees. Those were added after, making each $99 ($107) ticket $122.50 I think it came out to.

I placed an order for 1-ED2 and 1-GA ticket
Convenience charge -21.60
Convenience charge - 13.10
Facility charge - 8.00
Order processing Fee - 5.40
Totalling $48.10 worth of service charges. Isn't that crazy?

I think part of that was the accidental charge that everybody who did layaway got. Tell her to email if she hasn't gotten a credit yet, her ticket shouldn't have been that much. I paid $122.50 per ticket but I heard they were overcharging everyone like $37 which seems about right if she paid $160. Have her check into it.
