View Full Version : RV & GA Tix VS Off-site & Reserved Seats

This is my first stagecoach year (YAY! I'm finally not away at schooL!), but I'm going with friends who are veterans. We're trying to decide whether we should do an RV in EDII and buy GA tix or go for the Reserved seats and stay w/ a friend off-site for free (or camp but judging from what people say, not sure we want to do that!)... My friends want me to get the "full Stagecoach experience." We kinda wanted to do Reserved seats, but if we do that renting an RV too makes it really expensive. Any thoughts?

Go with friends and stay in EDII, and general admission. Youll still get the full effect! SO much fun, and so worth every dime. Gen admission was a little iffy last year but IM sure with all complaints from last year, they will be a little more organized.

Yeah, unless you are in the front 10 rows, you will be watching the screens anyway! Everyone stands and you cant see crap. Save your money, stay on site, no driving necessary (and that can be a nightmare in itself) and relax. Venture to the other stages, cuz really, will you be in that $800 seat all the time?

it all depends on what your looking for in your SC experience are you all about the music and not so much about the partying or are you more like me where you like the music but you wanna have as much fun in a short time as possible. for me i like camping and staying up till 4 or 5 in the morning partying and i love the music but im not all about being right up front to see the people i like to just hear the music and enjoy the day relaxing.

The past two years I have done hotel and general admission which was fun. Then for Wagon Wheel we got up really close which was awesome for autographs, but to be honest, didn't really change the musical experience all that much for me. This year I'm RVing it and still going GA and am looking forward to the best experience yet. I spent some time in the RV section partying last year because I got a wristband and I promise it's a good time.

camping is really the only way to truely immerse ur self in the experience . . . whether u tent or rv it staying there makes sc what it is!! As for seats it depends on what is important to u . . . there were times that i wished I had a reserved seatbut hanging out surrounded by 50,000 people was kinda cool too

ed2 is only $250 for the whole weekend Thursday night threw Monday morning and its right on site and party till the sun comes up or $850 for a hotel of site driving to venue and parking and no in/out privileges hhhhhmmmmmmm thats a no brainier
just get like 10 people together and rent an RV and pay for ed2 it will be cheeper in the long run seeing that you can go back to your RV to eat lunch and get drunk b4 you go in to the concert that way the $4 beer doesn't look so bad you get to party for 4 nights with out worrying about someone getting a DUI. Its a no brainier for me.

I believe they were. I think my friend was drinking rum and cokes all weekend! I would guess maybe a little more then a beer but i would think they have them. I mean unless she brought in her own rum and was just getting cokes. Who knows....

Yes they have mixed drinks. The beer gardens had the Rum, beer etc. There were good bars at some of the side stages and in VIP and a few scattered areas.

The first year we got vodka tonics with Grey Goose at the far side stage, but this last year it wasnt there, but there was a full bar in the VIP area.

HAHA, I was thinking the SAME thing! I would LOVE $4 beers there! and agreeing with people above ^^, go the RV route (if you like to party especially) and get GA. Like Kymery said, the reserved seats are only good for about 10 rows. Save your money for alcohol, it's EXPENSIVE!

Yep, mix drinks are there. There's whiskey and Sailor Jerry's and I think Margaritas, and other stuff I don't quite remember! I was drinking beer and Sailor Jerry's Rum.

All i remember about last year getting beer was on sun, i made 4 trips to the beer garden within 10 min of each other because i would get half way back to my seat and my drunk friend or some other drunk would bump into me and spill my beer or hit it out of my hand. But by that time i just gave up and couldnt get mad. I just started to laugh it off... Its a small price to pay for an AMAZING weekend. hahaha. :D
Concerts should give you lids for your beers. ha ha. Kind of like a kids cup!
