Well, I always get the cheapest. I usually party to much to even care what the room looks like. ;) Isn't an RV cheaper even with EDII tickets? Just wondering.

Yes it is. EDII is $250, RV is about $100 a day.

3 bedroom condo booked for a week (a week because it was so far in advance so hopefully I can knock it back to 3 or 4 days once we are closer than 90 days.) I was just afraid to wait to make reservations.
6 miles away.

ed2 is only $250 for the whole weekend Thursday night threw Monday morning and its right on site and party till the sun comes up or $850 for a hotel of site driving to venue and parking and no in/out privileges hhhhhmmmmmmm thats a no brainier
just get like 10 people together and rent an RV and pay for ed2 it will be cheeper in the long run seeing that you can go back to your RV to eat lunch and get drunk b4 you go in to the concert that way the $4 beer doesn't look so bad you get to party for 4 nights with out worrying about someone getting a DUI. Its a no brainier for me.

hotel just works for mom and i cuz mom isn't a drinker she will have maybe one or 2 beers throughout the day so no DUI worries for us and i can get as drunk as i want. and mom really likes her privacy, to her 6-10 heads in a space as small as an rv one word comes to mind: claustrophobic. lol. and 820$ (245$/night)well i just don't mind paying a lil extra for what i want/comfort/cleanliness. and trust me just cuz we do the hotel thing doesn't mean i miss out on the weekend of partying ;)

Super 8 / Indio is booking rooms at $350 a night, ouchy..... You can rent the RV and have it delivered too. Like FF is doing and now I see some others are doing as well.

i don't care what the room looks like but when you'd rather pee in the port o potties at SC than at your hotel well that puts it in perspective as to how nasty travelodge was.

It's only $850 TOTAL for an RV (including the site)! You and your mom could have had one to yourself for that price!

really? man if my reservation was refundable i would do the rv thing. i personally wouldn't mind sharing an rv with a bunch of people but like i said mom likes her privacy. next year we'll rent an rv she has already decided. lol i love how i got her planning for sc 2011 :D she is hooked! but as for this year i'm not stressing over being in a hotel-- SC is gonna be fun no matter what!!

We used ours so much during our kids racing. We use it for Glamis, Ocotillo, the beach, concerts, just to get away, infact using it tomarrow to head to Temecula to camp and go partying and dancing with some friends.

Oh, and I use it for Doug's dog house!! Or for me to get away alone. Well worth the investment..OH and it is a tax write off since it has a bathroom in it!!:D

Stating a fact, I'm renting an RV this year, that's the delivered price for the RV ($600) and $250 for ED2, except for whatever the fees are like Kymery just mentioned.
Wait, you for ticketbastard fees....
I know, I'm holding my breath on that one. Everyone pitched in a couple extra bucks though, so they should be covered thankfully! QUetion: Everywhere I look it says tickets are on sale through ticketmaster OR stagecoachfestival.com. Do they sell them here and are there still the fees? Or does it just redirect you to ticketmaster?

There's only 6 of us in an RV that sleeps 8. When the 5 of us piled into the RV that Yvonne & Doug rented (which was much smaller) to hang out, it wasn't too bad at all. I think 6 is perfect!

Is it really a tax write off? LMAO, would it qualify for the first time buyers credit ($8,000)?
UKNOWME

Yes it is a tax wright off but i don't thing it would qualify for that. but if you already have a home it wrights off like a second home..

yeah my friends and I are looking through all our options. trying to find a cheap hotel that is walking distance to the fest. anyone have any experience?
Cooter
10-17-2009, 11:26 AM
there are no cheap hotels walking distance to the festival.
best option may be to try and rent a house in the indian palms counrty club property. not sure what the cost would be, but it's the only place close enough to walk to the show from.

If anyone is looking for cheap RVs, I found this website http://www.apollorv.com/. The prices were pretty good. Most of them are under $100/day.
On a side note, if anyone has 2 extra spaces in their RV and would like to fill them to lower costs please message me. I have no one to go to Stagecoach with except my boyfriend because I can force him to go. This might stem from the fact that I'm Asian and live in Los Angeles... all my friends can't stand country music. lol.
