Okay who do you have to sleep with to be allowed to buy gold circle? Last year I bought tickets within 2 minutes of when they went on sale and the GC were gone. Do they actually sell them or do they keep them for friends and VIPS?:D
It's a mystery... I will tell you that I have never heard of someon obtaining gold circle tickets through the actual ticket purchasing process. My personal theory is that those seats are never actually put up on sale, but held aside and given to promoters, corporate sponsors... and their friends, and their friends, and so on, and so on. Unfortunately that's just the way the biz rolls. The biggest bummer with that is those seats are left open for so much of the day... There's a ton of us that would love to get up there and support the bands, but we just can't. I call it a "world peace" issue that there should be a solution for, but I haven't come up with one yet myself.
This year I gotta get me one of those P1 tickets (P L E A S E). If they can "award" us regulars with the best seats I would hope they could try and we will pay.

I don't care where I sit because I will be roaming around, and have the RV.

ok in my opinion it really doesnt matter if i get gold circle this year. yes it gets you CLOSE to the stage but honestly i had more fun with a big group of friends out in GA then in our 4th row seats (which costs $$)
but i will admit i got some dang good pics in the closer seats!

Last year I tried to get p1 right at the opening of sales and no luck, then 2 weeks before the event, just for fun I did a search on ticketmaster to see what was available and got a second row almost dead center. Mind you I only needed 1 which is easier to find but it ended up costing me since I couldn't find a buyer for the other ticket I had, but needless to say I had a blast, and with the p1 instead I was able to get some food and 20oz cokes to mix my smuggled crown with for free!

It looks to me like they enlarged the P-1 area, last year and the years before it was not as large in the center section. Maybe they will have more available this year. My wife really wants to be as close as possible so I have to give it a shot!

WHO HOO...I got our tickets this morning PI row B..my kiddo is gonna be excited!!! Can't wait for April!!!!!!
