Yeah, they did that this year huh?! I forgot about that. It as close to the festival date. May have to search on here to get a better idea of when.

Hi All! I only had a couple posts under a different name but got tired of it so I made a new profile.
Anyway, the other half usually orders the tickets online through ticketmaster and then prints everything himself. I like to have an actual ticket (it fits in my pockets better than a folded up piece of computer paper). So, I'm hitting the ticketmaster location at the mall on Friday after work.
My question is: Obviously I can buy the festival tickets, but, can I buy my ED II spot? I feel like last year SC mailed him a packet with all the camping info. What will I get to confirm my ED II spot when I get to the outlet?
Thanks,
Samantha

So, they'll give me a ticket like the festival one but that says ED II and i just give that little thing to the guy at the gate when we get there? and he'll give us the window cling and wristbands?

Yes you get a ticket and will present the ticket on site.
More details will be posted in the coming months.

Silly me...I tend to over complicate things. I saw this on the website:
All camping tickets are available through all Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone
Does that mean I can't go to a ticketmaster outlet?

Do they still have those? Reminds me of the days camping out at the Sears Store or the Warehouse overnight to get tickets. Can't say I miss those days.

haha ya, some places do. my local macy's has one. it's the only one within 20 miles of me. i just want my tickets right there and then so i can put them away and not worry. there used to be one in the tower records but that is long since gone.

i do. the camaraderie that came with it is something i will always miss. you knew you were with the real fans during those times...well, and a couple homeless people getting paid by scalpers. i still remember many of the conversations with line friends. i never did do overnight, though, just rose early and jumped in line at the crack of dawn. not to mention, you could actually get tickets to the damn show.
i also miss heading out to tower at midnight to pick up the new releases. the excitement of lining up and talking with fellow fans and then running right out to your car and blasting your multi-thousand dollar sound system for everyone to hear.
just a couple more things the internet has ruined :(

haha, yep, rockin' the oakley razor blades. there was a charity event at raging waters and the casts of all those teen shows were there doing pictures and autographs for donations. good times, even hung out with that guy for awhile and went on a bunch of rides with him...random. i was wishing it was the chick who played kelly, though.
