New Orleans?

I'm being talked into a long weekend in New Orleans. I'd meet a friend of mine from NY. Another friend is telling me I'm stupid for thinking of going -- apparently the police are corrupt. What's a girl to do? Would I starve, since I haven't been eating meat too? What is there to do other than just drink (crazy question, I know!).

All I know about New Orleans is there are awesome restaurants and lots of drinking. I don't know what it's like to be a veggie there, but I'm a veggie now so if you go, give us a report.

It will be very hot & humid there this time of year. There are lots of good red beans & rice for you to eat. Not all cops are corrupt. Females get to ride the mechanical bull for free at the cowboy bar on Bourbon Street if you ride topless.

Drinking is the main thing to do.

I think I passed on going. I'm going to Vegas the following week and it'll be too much time off of work. I work at a school and school starts a couple weeks prior and I'm the new boss, so it won't look the best to be taking two long weekends only a couple weeks after school starts. Gotta set an example or some crap like that! I'm dying to go there though! And Seattle! No one I know wants to go there with me either!
