Starting this one up again.... Who's all going? I'm not quite sure what our plan is going to be as far as what time we're getting there, if we're going to eat by the venue, or anything... BUT - the show is scheduled to start at 7:30....maybe we can coordinate some sort of quick meet up / group pic before the show starts? I think it'll be too difficult to try to meet up in between acts (well, depending on where everyone is sitting I guess?)...any suggestions on what time / where? :)

Yea, should be pretty easy to find everyone - I'll look up where lot C is for your parking - might be easiest to meet outside (you'll probably have to go in a different entrance than us because of sitting in PR...)... Usually the Wayne Gretzkey statue is an easy place to meet up....?

statues are usually easy to find lol; if we can find each other at stagecoach we should be able to find each other at the staples center- i would think. i think lot c is on cherry and 11th at least thats what my mom said. i didn't even think about different entrances.

My mom has to pick tickets up at Will Call also...and that should be right near the Gretzky statue....

So - wanna meet at the statue around....6:30? That's an hour before the show starts - too early? Figured would give time for people to go in, get settled, use restrooms, buy shirts or whatever...?

YAY Rose! Yep, I've seen Sugarland before - but always a good show - and I'm a Keith Urban virgin too!

So - still planning on the Wayne Gretzky statue at 6:30 for a group pic before going in and finding seats. YAY! Hope to see everyone there.

(For those who haven't been to Staples Center before - the statue is in the "front" of the building - on the 11th Street - also known as Chick Hearn Court right there at the corner of 11th/Figueroa - between the TEAM LA store and WILL CALL)

yeah i just read that too. Totally disappointed but i'll take Lady A over Glen Campbell any day.

On a side note...Sugarland played last night up at AT&T park in San Francisco with Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, & Lady A. Last year when I saw Kenny Chesney in Atlanta, he said that she was dating a guy in his band. Wonder if thats why she chose today for vocal rest??? Spend a little more time with the BF maybe?? Lol.....just sayin'!

I thought it was an amazing show! I've never seen Keith before last night! I really do like Lady Antebellum, but was looking forward to seeing Sugarland - so I was a little bummed. Lady A was great though!

Keith is crazy - going into the crowd several times! We loved when we went to the stage at the back of the floor and said "who's got the good seats NOW?" :)

I loved when Keith went into the crowd because then I was one of those people with the "good seat" now. LOVED IT! Also, thought it was funny when he told security to leave people alone and let them have fun. Guess he was saying it was a free for all when he went in to the crowd. He got many kisses and hugs and had his hair messed with. Fun times!!!

Keith was also awesome at our show in vegas. I loved the venue, pretty small and he was amazing. He also came off stage and made his round performed VERY close to our seats. I would've been a tad bit angry if I was in front row, and actually paid for great seats. Im sure he made up for it the remainder or the time. He got on security for a girl flashing not once, twice or three times..but about 10 times...they backed off. She was thankfull. He has a great voice, and sounds exactly if not better than on the radio or on his cds. Great performance. Crowd was kinda angry that sugarland didnt open, it was one of the previous beach boys? Kinda lame for keith urban but he had a lot of respect for the man and Keith followed his performance so it made it all better for us =]]

I'm soooooo tired. But as soon as I can I took video of both Lady A and Keith plus pics. My crappy floor seat turned out pretty good. Was just rows away when he played on the platform right behind me and then when he played in the lower section he was just a few rows away.

KL - I ran into Kris & Richard right after the show.

GREAT to finally meet GSF in person and thanks again KL for you and your family sharing your dinner time with me.

gee, how about this one?..hope it worked, never tried to post a pic before....for the record, I DID INVITE DG, my guest is the gal next to Keith, I'm the one w/KEITH's arm around me!!!!!... & I had my arm around him...very skinny man..he smells sooooooooo good....ha ha...great seats, nice BBQ & solo & Q & A w/him...sorry you couldn't come...didn't have time to post to board, I won a trip to Vegas to meet the Fray, flight got delayed, got home late Sat, turned around & drove to LA to meet Keith...I would've preferred Glen Campbell over Lady A, he was great--whichever yr he played at SC, he was great...havin fun, sorry I missed y'all, we also won a room at Holiday Inn, that's the place to stay for Staples shows

ROSE--MAN, looking at your pics, I was a couple rows to your right!...DG told me to post here before I left, but I won a trip to Vegas & flight was delayed coming home, so I went to bed, got up the next day & headed to LA. BUMMER...we stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street, nice bar/pool area...could've hung out. How about Wagon Wheel?
