Hey guys, my company is having a contest for a new "green" slogan (we're going environmentally friendly" and I would like to be the winner and figured I could use some help. If you come up with something good, and it wins, I'll give you $50.
Southland Industries is forming Green Teams in each division and department in order to heighten environmental awareness. More details will follow, but for now we need a good slogan or catch phrase.
Just fill in the blank:
SOUTHLAND INDUSTRIES’ GREEN TEAM – “_________________________________”
Examples:
“Conservation through Innovation”
“Where Sustainability Happens”
“Where Orange is the new Green”
“LEEDing the Way”
You can expect to see YOUR winning entry on t-shirts, mugs, etc. throughout the company for years to come.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS CLOSE OF BUSINESS 06/19/09 (ONE WEEK).
The winning entry will be announced on Monday 06/22/09.

Not sure I'm loving it though....I'm sure you'll get some good ideas from this bunch! :)

Ooh, like that one too. Those are my 2 favs, we plan it for our planet, and we plan it to protect our planet. I'll submit more on Monday. I should really think of some myself, huh? I just haven't had even a second today with all the Angels game stuff. That's all that's on my mind!

Ok, so just got some more info on the "Green Team" and looks like I had the wrong approach. I think it's for a Green Team for our interoffices. Basically they are currently turning our offices "green" (eliminating printers, water bottles, recycling, etc...) and the "Green Team" is heading up all of these changes. Any new ideas are welcome!

I don't think eliminating recycling is very "green" of you guys.

While I can tell that you spent countless hours thinking of some real gems, I must say with complete respect, don't quit your day job!
So far I've submitted I think close to 30. This competition is company wide though, so there's 5 divisions all submitting. I've been thinking throughout the day and there's no limit.

Yeah, and it wasn't me :(
The winning slogan was:
Design-Build-Maintain-Sustain
Our normal slogan with "Sustain" added on the end. 2 different people won. I submitted like almost 100. Damn!

Did you? I thought of playing off the words and using sustain INSTEAD of maintain, but not adding it on.
