I'm off to DC and Philly tonight for work. I won't be back until late October, but I do plan on hitting up some country concerts while I'm gone. I already have a ticket (going by my lonesome but I know I'll meet some cool country folk to hang out with) to George Strait, one to Rascal Flatts and one to Toby Keith. I'm making the East Coast rounds. Take care everyone and party on! Long live the red cups. I'll be checking in when I can!

Have a blast out there. One great piece of advice a friend gave me back when I moved to Texas for a short time? Do things you NEVER thought you'd do! Best wishes girl!

Some of you may have already seen her updates on Facebook, but I know she's checked out the Lincoln Memorial and Crime Museum this past weekend...exciting stuff to see! :) She started her first day of work out there today. (Hope she doesn't mind me updating you guys for her - haha)

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I feel like I've been gone forever!! I've missed so much it seems! I can't wait to get back to you all and see some concerts. I'm going through withdrawl! Our return date was Oct. 14th. Now it's the 26th.....we keep getting delayed. I hope to be home by Thanksgiving at this rate!

so, tell us what you've been up to.
I've really just been working....averaging 15 hours a day. We had to work on Saturday too last weekend...so I'm barely getting time to explore the city. The humidity here is out of control too. That's what I miss most about California. And my friends of course! I'm heading "down the shore" this weekend. I call it going to the beach, but apparently that's not how you say it. A few of us rented a beach cottage 1/2 block from the sand. So we're stocking up on alcohol and hitting the road for an hour and a half and getting to our beach shack. Should be fun!!

Have fun goin "down the shore" IHML! There's been a bit of humidity here as of late, and it is HOT so you're not missin too much. Ouch 15 hour days?!? Hope you're hourly! The beach cottage sounds like a blast, go relaz and get a tan :)
