Really was fun to have so many of you checking in with me as I worked the BBQ Contest in my cart. Who has a copy of the Forum Group shot?

Hi THOM!!!! We loved meeting you. There were about ten cameras going at the group photo shoot. Don't worry, soon we'll have plenty of shots for you to choose your favorite from.
Loved the barbecue on Saturday!
Missed it on Sunday!!! :(

Thom, kudos to all the BBQ people - we tasted so many great types...even my "I don't like anything spicy!" kid tried them all and found a favorite! Thank you for all the work you did to bring us some great BBQ!!!!

to refer back to an earlier post of mine in the thread for slow people, "delicious", I can't wait to go back and eat more bbq next year, it's hard to find good stuff in LA
We will be at Wagon Wheel with a similar deal
So you can get more than one "fix" a year :)

loved the BBQ ! it was great being able to have a sample at the different BBQ booths. Nice people, friendly. must say those were "ample samples", too.

I stopped by to meet you after the photo n meet for the group but you were not in the booth at the time! Hope to meet you next year! I had eight hungry girls that wanted to eat but they did not want a plate of meat only! Any chance next year you can serve rolls n salad or something? Or do they not allow that??

Yes, we did have quite a great party going on at our booth all weekend. Can't wait until next year's event.

Skip that and come down to the Orange County Fairgrounds for the Que'n for Kids contest. A lot of the teams that were at SC will be at the fairgrounds for a very worthy cause.

I know ribs were really popular this year. I'm a pulled pork (or as we call it in NC, barbecue) man myself, but almost everytime I would walk up to a booth, someone would be asking for ribs, and they would say, sorry, we're already sold out, they went fast.

Yeah, Thom, that was some good bbq, great job on that, me and my better half were stuffed... Kudos to all the BBQ competitors! That was amazing bbq, some of the best I've ever had!!
