Looks like GoldenVoice did a great job with the GA tickets - and the VIP seating reflected the times.....with vast sections unsold.

sooooooooo

Anyone know the real numbers of how many were there Sat and Sun?

Or...

Take a guess.....

Mine....
26,000 based on nothing.....

I heard around 40 thousand, but even that number seems like it should be higher. That was saturday, and I think there was a bigger crowd sunday. I'm curious about the number too.

Last year the daily attendance was 40,000 and this year it looked like at least 10,000 more.

Driving home the radio said initial reports were double the ticket sales of last year

I think they should have moved up the seat holders who paid good money as a thank you....

Great seeing you...:)

Sorry I never got to get time to visit....

PM me on face book...:)
My guess is 60,000 way to many GA sold....

Funny thing is that people who purchase very expensive seats (all venues) sometimes only show up for a limited time of a concert and their seat stays empty the rest of the time. I've seen this over and over and over again. I wish I had that kinda money but every event I attend I go from the very beginning to the bitter end to get the most bang for my dollar.

All I know is that it felt like there were a LOT more people there than last year!

You could tell from the moment you walked in that there were a lot more people than there were last year. The folks sitting in GA were pressed further back to the entrance. And those bathroom lines were absolutely insane a few of the times we went over.

Someone that I talked to lived near and either heard on the news or read that they expected 100,000 and they well exceeded that number. I have been to a lot of NASCAR races with huge crowds and I would guess there was close to 150,000 people there maybe even 170,000. Then just think of all the people that were either to drunk or having to much fun and never left the camp/RV areas. Plus you had all the BBQ people that were by their booths most of the day. Tons of people but super fun and total worth it,

max capacity is between 50,000 and 60,000 per day, i believe, nowhere near the 100,000 mark.

Out of curiosity, how do you know the capacity?

just based on past experiences/reviews...

the most coachella has ever had is ~60,000 in a day. i actually think stagecoach has an even lower capacity due to the reserved seating and chairs being allowed in ga. that may make it look more crowded than it really is attendance-wise.

Looked like a helluva lot more than 50 thousand to me. Dude, that place was packed all the way to the entrance!

My prob w/my VIP Sec 7 seat was I couldn't GET to it! There were alot of acts on the other stages that I wanted to hear. By the time I tried to get back to my $$ seat, the fire lanes were blocked & I couldn't get thru--granted--I walk w/a cane & I need some room to walk, can't just elbow my way up there. I tried the shortcut thru the middle, but it was blocked by midday. I was left of the stage & always tried to come in that way--my mistake, I should've just walked thru the VIP area from the right side & disrupted views. No, I wouldn't do that, even as much pain as I was in. I LOVED my seat, just upgraded my seat for a concert this wkend in SDiego & will ALWAYS pay the $$ for a VIP seat, even if I only get to sit in it for the final acts. It was worth it in the end. HOPE they make the seats more affordable--that's way out of my budget!
