This is my first year attending you Stage Coach Venue. From the attendance of young and old Stage Coach made some big bucks. Great Job! I am a little pissed off however, the selection to have Kid Rock be at this event. He is NOT a country musician in ANY sense of the term nor does he hold to good ‘ole country values and respect for others. His lyrics to his hard rock songs contained way too many cuss words that had no place at a COUNTRY FAMILY event. Just because Kid Rock has 2 hits on the country music charts does NOT qualify him in the least to be labeled as a country artist. I am very disappointed in the invitation and approval of allowing this drug using, disrespectful, potty mouth, rebellious jerk to be a headliner for such a big FAMILY event like this. It would have been more appropriate for Kid to be at the Coachella Music Festival the weekend before. Please do NOT have Kid or others like him in Hard Rock genre ever be in attendance again at Stage Coach.

I have to agree on the potty mouth and choice of songs...
Yet as the old saying goes....You can try and take the boy out to the country, yet you will never take the hood out of the wanna be country boy....
To be frank....
It was the worst stagecoach I have ever been to.....
Ok on the fairness to Kid as a entertainer...He was the bomb and really the head show entertainer of the entire weekend quite the showman bar none.....
Ok now I 'm going back to loading my photos......
I'll be back to discuss this cluster mess of a weekend...
This mind you is coming from someone who is always looking for the positive....
Thank God I was only the photographer and not the writer on the venue..
I might have had to quit...lol:eek::eek::eek::mad::eek::rolleyes::D
OHHH...
P.S I have not even got started....
No... wagon wheel even for this girl after this event.....:p

I can't vote on this because none of the poll options are right for me.
I don't think image and lyrics have anything to do with being classified as "country" so I won't ding him for either. However, I thought some of his songs had heavy country sound waaaay before I got into country so I'll give him credit for that.
I wasn't crazy about the Eagles playing last year (who in my opinion are 0% country). Not a big fan of their music and they did nothing to change that at last year's SC. I was bored while everyone else was so farking excited to see them.
Likewise, I wasn't jazzed about Kid Rock at SC 09. I like him alright, and I've always thought he was talented, but I didn't care to see him. Well he changed all that. He far exceeded expectations. I'd say for me he was easily the highlight of the concert. Definitely the most fun and entertaining to watch.
I can't believe I'm saying that because Brad and Kenny are two of my absolute favorite country artists. Maybe I've just seen them both too many times? Not sure what it was but in five years the only thing I'll remember about SC 09 was Kid Rock and I'm glad he was there.

Maybe hungover?? My friend saw him Saturday night in Vegas at the Hard Rock, and she texted me at 12:30am saying that he was still playing.
I do agree though, he looked tore up! Sorry Kenny, love ya and all, but this wasn't my favorite show of yours.

Amen sister, after reading all of these posts, I am glad I saved my money and did not attend. Hope they have a better line up next year so I will want to go!
