What is the deal about letting regular people park in the campground. Now anyone can come into the campground. How safe is our site and stuff?

I believe what you were seeing was the ADA parking, which was too far, especially since the trams wern't running after 11. They had carts, but while my husband and I tried to get to it we were forced out by an over zelous security gaurd screaming we wernt allowed back in. Trying to explain to her that we needed to get on the cart to go to the disabled parking was pointless. Finally they told us we would have to wait 45 minutes to get a cart to take us to our car. We just limped the whole way to our car.

it was not ADA parking. it was just regular non camping parking. security said they ran out of parking in the regular lot and International camping was not sold out so that was where they started putting more cars. there was no seperation except for cones to the campgrounds. lots of broken glass in the area where cars were parked. almost every camper on the ends put all their stuff back into their RVs. there were even people that ended sleeping in their cars saturday and sunday night. too bad the rest of us paid $500 to spend the night and they didn't. most people i talked to that were camping were not very happy.

I can vouch for this - we arrived about 12:30 on Sunday and were led into one of the motorhome lots (I want to say ED2 but I might be wrong). There were about 6 rows of cars parked there, at the end of the camping area. We had to walk through the motorhomes to get to the path to go to the main entrance....
