New Here, Question Please?

I'm sure this has been asked, and I have looked on the site but have not found the answer.

We will be staying at a hotel in Palm Springs. We have friends who are in El Dorado 1 (?) in their RV. They are saying that all we have to do is buy some sort of wristband and we will be allowed to bring our ice chest over to them, and rest/eat there if needed and re-enter. Anyone know if that would work? Thanks! This is our first time and we dont know what to expect.

People are selling them on here, but you better get it set up quick.
I just sat next to a lady in the cyber cafe who was trying to unload 3 of them.

your friends should give you the "people passes" they will get when they check in. RV "people passes" allow you in/outs of the festival and to visit any of the camp sights.

the lady here was hoping for anything. You should be able to do for less than the $50 retail. go to the ticket forum and post WANTED 1 PEOPLE PASS or whatever
