View Full Version : How Far Back Is General Admission?

I was looking at the map on ticketmaster, and I noticed they have the mainstage section roped off for seated tickets. How far back is the General admission? Is it worth it?
General Admission is HUGE. Check out the festival map 09. It also includes 2 other stages...the Mustang & Palomino plus a whole lot more activities.

GA starts about 200 feet back from the stage. But if you are not there early enough you could be anywhere from 300-500 feet from the stage. They have large video screens for those in the back and lots of people wander around and don't watch the show from one place, but if you are in GA and you get there early enough, find a spot and mark your territory (but not like a dog does, please).

People get angrier the closer they are to the VIP Reserved fence. I had to save this little girl last year from being chewed out by 2 45 year olds. She was maybe 4 feet tall and saw her idol (Carrie) for the first time ever. The ADULTS were sitting in chairs like 5 feet behind the fence and she tried getting in front of them closer to the fence. It was rediculous. Entitlement sucks.
