We're flying in & it's difficult to bring folding chairs along with our suitcases. Hopefully we won't be too stiff to sit on the grass all day, but just in case-does anyone know if any vendors will be renting/selling folding chairs? Or sunshades, as far as that goes. (It's a birthday present for my wife so I don't know how prepared she'll be-although I've told her to start tanning.)
Very disappointing that In/Out won't be permitted. Hopefully the set times will be such that we won't need to stay all 12 hours each day to see our favorite acts-looking forward to seeing the schedule so I can plan our days.
Thanks.

Just buy chairs from the local Walmart. Although it is super funny that you even considered bringing your folding chair with you from home. There will be plenty to do in shaded areas so you wont have to be in the sun the whole time.......mmmmm super spicy chilli & bullriding.
Hi,
I am newly join in this site. You know all those people who use Starbucks as their office? The ones with laptops, power cards, cell phones, and papers spread out, holding meetings across tiny wooden tables? They used to annoy me. Until I became one.

why bother with so many words to be a spammer? She wasted so much time on being able to irritate others.

Step away from the computers.....
It is making everyone a bit loopy...lol
I love to work form or off of a mobile line......
I'm sure most will be using the wifi at stagecoach......Or maybe starbucks on Jefferson....

NOt important, but I just wanted to say that we actually DID take our folding chairs and tent with us when we went to the 1st stagecoach! Tied them together to make one piece of "baggage". We flew in from Hawaii and stayed in the tent forum! :) It was a blast! Didn't make it last year, and unfortunately, airline baggage fees will make bringing our stuff with us impractical this year! :( But just wanted to mention it, because someone up above said "Although it is super funny that you even considered bringing your folding chair with you from home. " Money's always tight - why buy new equipment if you have all the stuff you need in your garage?! :) If airlines didn't charge for every little thing, I'd be bringing the chairs and tent and coolers and whatever else I needed with me this year too! Unfortunately, though, this year I have to pay an extra $17 just to bring some clothes in the first bag this year! :(

Yeah, last year that's what we did, we went to Walmart and got our camping chairs, not a bad price either! This year we decided to go reserved so the camping chairs are staying home!

Yeah, you leave your chairs at the main stage, head on over to visit the others, and come back to your saved spots. People were pretty cool watching them your ya.

Oooops, good point, I guess they'll be coming with us, but it will be such a hassle to have them when we're at the main stage. But oh well, my husband will be carrying them anyway, hahaha....

That's true, last year we went GA, and we would find a spot when we got there put our chairs down and a blanket, and came and went all day. They were always where we left them. That's what I like about country concerts, you don't have to worry as much as you do with others. Love that!

You don't really need chairs at the other stages. If you go early before the show time you can get a hay bale to sit on. We never sat down at Craig Morgan at all..it was that good.

MAN Craig Morgan was the BEST! What a show, still one of my fav's last yr.
Anyway, as I posted in idea's--buy a couple cheapy, fleece blankets--under $5, lightweight, sit on those for other stages. Hay ain't fun to sit on in shorts or lightweight material, you'll itch forever. My "pal" dissappeared Sunday w/my backpack chair, I sat on grass most of day, then blanket, but my back hurt for days. Even w/Resv. for Mane Stage, I'd bring "bag chairs" for other stages. There is a Fart & Sminal Store down the street from festival, grab a few chairs coming in. Sell for a beer at closing time.
Chairs, hummmmmmmm, rental chairs for travelers, I see a money makin biz a brewin' here. Deposit to cover losses, low rental fee's, hang out by ticket office, hummm.

Well, no one really has their chairs at the other stages, just a few people do. Mostly you stand at those stages, The sets aren't that long and you are so up close. If you sat in a chair you wouldn't be able to see anyway.
