really? i would have thought someone would notice you carrying an ice chest, to me it would stick out like a sore thumb.

Have you seen some of the ones they make lately? However, I guess you're right, it would be a bit bulky huh?

i think you might get away with it if it wasn't too big and if your with a bunch of people they can kinda surround whoever is carrying it. i wouldn't risk it. say you pack an ice chest and wait in line get caught and what --walk all the way back to the car to put it away and get back in line to go in the festival. waste of time to me but if your that cash strapped try it. good luck

I really don't think there's a way to get it in. We were searched pretty good last year. Each of us had to step up to security and they'd shake our chairs upside down, go through backpacks...they'd see an ice chest. Not worth the time and effort, IMO.

Really? Wow! I got away with it last year. I had a little one that looked like a lunch box and carried it over my shoulder with my chair and blanket and never got searched. Hmmmm maybe I just made it in at the exact right time???

Yeah they searched us pretty well too. They shook our chairs, made us throw out our red bulls....I wouldn't risk carrying it all the way to the venue only to have to ditch it or take it back to the car/campgrounds.

hummmmmmmmmm, maybe I'll hang out at the gates in the morning & offer to "store" everyone's contraband...ha ha...we'll get sh*tfaced for sure...ha ha
