question on bringing in alcohol....help please

I know everyone keeps asking this question. Can you bring in alcohol? And do you need to hide it? This is my groups first year at SC, we are camping in the tent area. Do they check everything when you come in? Or just your coolers? Like you bags? Where is the best place to hide your Alcohol. Thanks

They didn't check anything when I came in. They just showed me to a spot. Keep it out of sight. Keep it in a red cup when drinking. Low key. I fill the cooler ahead of time, I put the bottles in a back pack. Take the bag for the chair or tent back out to the car if you can't hide it all in one trip. Out of sight to come in, in a cup once you're there. It's not like Coachella. They don't search every nook and cranny.

THey do check backpacks, ice chests etc. Last year one guy even had to throw away his jello shooters.

We were paranoid last year (ok, I'm the paranoid one), so we put the beer at the bottom of the cooler, filled it with ice, then put the waters on top of the ice. They ended up not doing or checking a thing. They just showed us to our site...one "camp counselor" helped us carry the cooler too.

They never even stopped our car when we pulled into the Forum parking. Just directed us in. We had hid bottles in random places in the vehicle just in case but we were never stopped. When you're drinking in the campground just be low-key and use cups. Shouldn't be a problem.

i think she meant like as far as going into the actual concert area...camping they wont really search you unless your standing on your trailor doing a beer bong lol, otherwise i think your in the clear

Ohhhh, ok, awesome. I'm not trying to sneak alcohol into the concert anyhow, so no worries. I half though about a beer pong table, but figured they wouldn't allow that in the forum even if you use red cups, huh?
