We bought RV camping Tics for Eld 2 and then stupid me read the rules. It states no bbq'ing and no alcohol.

There are quite a few threads that talk about this -

BBQ-ing - seems hit-or-miss on whether they enforce it, but there is a good thread about food for SC that doesn't involve the grill....

Alcohol - looks like you just need to be discrete and bring lots of RED CUPS!!!

Welcome to the Message Boards ~ it's a wild ride, but there's lots of great info here.

Yeah...first year they allowed them last minute...no problems. Then last year we were asked to shut ours down several times. Other people got away with it.

Liquor...braaahahahaha...bring it on!! NOT very strict at all.

Do they search your RV during check in? or do they justs ask if you have coolers?

The do not search your RV.. Unless of coarse you pull up and check in with a corona in your hand and all your liqour and mixers on the dashboard!!! LOL
We never got caught with the barbe... but we were quick and just did dogs and re heated barbaque Chicken breasts.. a friend of ours 2 rows down was told to stop outdoor cooking but they let his tri tip finish... it was only 5 minutes to finish.. and it was tasty!

My understanding is that you can, as long at it fits within the space that is alloted to you for your RV.

Search around here - I know this has been brought up before....

Of course they tell all of us not to bring liquor or cook outside. Can you imagine the huge ass liabilty if they told all of us we could cook, with open fire, in the desert, while we were drunk??? Be discrete and be responsible. It doesn't hurt to feed the security guys on patrol either. They stopped off for breakfast every morning.

That is correct. As long as it fits in your RV spot:)

WCL I'm proud of you! Jumping in given GOOD info. Helping out. That's our girl.....

Just use a little common sense and responsibility on the alcohol and be prepared to eat without the grill. You'll be golden.
