I think I saw a lot of them. Just as long as they dont have those umbrellas on the, but I wanted to buy one of those also, but they sit too close to the ground to even see.

I know the ones you're talking about and I can't believe people had the balls to put up the umbrella part. The ones we have are just folding chairs that sit low to the ground with a back pack on them. They're perfect for events like this.

Well, they are not supposed to be allowed to have the umbrellas...but you know how that goes!
I am getting the back pack type...ORRR..I may just bring in my SC08 chair, probably wont be sitting in it much anyway..just something to hold my "spot"
I was shocked when I saw a booth inside selling umbrellas. I was tempted but I thought it would be too rude to do to others.

Yeah...they have a monopoly on what is being used and sold...such as the misters..you can't bring one in, BUT...you can buy one once inside!! WTF?? Same for water and umbrellas out in the desert!! UGHH:mad:

Good question!! That would suck eggs if they say you can't! Especially if that same vendor isn't there this year.

I was planning on bringing mine from last year too - they better let'em in dangit! :)
Hopefully Countrygurl will answer this question because it sounds like WE ALL are bringing them back with us from last years purchase.

I would think they can't deny you bringing them in if they are EMPTY. Most of those rules are so people to smuggle in booze but what can they say if they are BONE DRY??

They wouldn't let any type of mister in last year,...empty or not! What did they think we were gonna do with them? Not cool off, but fill them with liquor and mist ourselves....ewwwwwww:eek:

Hmmm.. maybe that is why they don't allowed misters from outside and you have to buy them once in.
But again, this raises the question..can you bring in the ones you bought while inside? OH..and I think I remember that you have to bring them in EMPTY and the booth that sells them, they refill them for free. That is how they keep you from sneeking in the ole Kettle One!! BUMBER..thought you had something there till I remembered that.

That seems a little overboard not bringing in a mister... what could you possibly do with it that is bad? hhmmm, would take forever to mist vodka into your mouth... hahaha... gross too, haha...

I know..that sucks, but here is just MY guess as I mentioned before...they contracted with some mister guy to ONLY sell theirs right inside the gates...so if you buy HIS for $10 (i think that was it) then he would refill them for free, nice systems etc...but hell, if I already had one then why make me buy another to keep me from having heat stroke!!
Hmmm misting vodka...might be good for the skin!!:p

Dug mine out...Wild for the vine, 390 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA 92262. 909 856-2625. wildforthevine.com
The one thing I first noticed was that it said...Non Potable Water, Not intended for drinking.
I kept thinking to myself, "what in the world is really in this mister"?

I went to Riverside county fair today, the same guy was selling the mister bottles there so I stopped and asked him if he was going to be selling them at Stagecoach again this year and he said he was. Told him how much I enjoyed my mister last year..
Lizzy
02-13-2009, 08:55 PM
I think it would say non potable because they fill them up in ice chests, handle money and do not wash hands after every transaction, and most likely do not have to obey food handling safety rules and regulations. So they prob. don't want to to drink it and get sick and blame them

Yeah it is for wine stuff...but to the left is a tab to click for misters.. I emailed him today to see if he will be there for sure, then I realized lizzy already got it confirmed...but also asked if he is pre-selling them and at what price.
Lizzy
02-14-2009, 08:36 AM
He was selling them yesterday I did not check to see what prices, I might be going back to the fair during the week, I'll ask him then what the price would be for the misters at Stagecoach.

Thank you! Maybe hoping if we pre-buy they will be a better price, but then again, shipping would probably suck!
