Anyone have any tips to get they best bang for your buck?
Food Wise, i read that the BBQ booths/tickets for $10 are good, any other suggestions?
Whats your overall Stagecoach spending plan? (err ok so we all *think* we have a plan but then we get there and see too many shiny things to buy ;))

I was going to start a thread with this exact question....

For Stagecoach "virgins" - what can we expect once we get inside? What kind of merchandise (souveniers, t-shirts, hats, etc.) are in the venue?

I know that they will have the water bottles and the misters, but what else can we expect?

Also, for someone that's never been to ANYTHING like this, what do drinks run? Beer? Soda?

If they end up having that water program for SC that would totally rock. It gets really hot and drinking nice cold all you can drink water for a low price is GREAT!:)

Beer/ mixed drinks are like $8-$10. Soda was a few dollars, I don't remember exactly how much. Water is $2. Hot dog was $5. Funnel Cake was to die for and it was $5 to about $8 I think, depending on the toppings.

Concert shirts were about $25. My Eagles zippered/hooded sweatshirt was $40. You can only buy shirts for the artists playing that day. Lots of specialty items, cowboy themed knick-knacks, shirts, hats and such. Prices vary but are comparable to what you would find at a fair.

I don't know about other food. I didn't buy anything else.

last year in ed1 you could buy shirts too. Texas twisters were good first year second year so so. Garlic fries are awesome. In vip section they had pizza pie stand, pizza and cookie pie were good. yum no more talking about food makes me want o be there now.

tgcali has it right for artist souviners...Buy the day they are performing. I really wanted a George Strait t-shirt but the lines were so long so I decided to purchase one the very next day before it got too busy. BIG MISTAKE and no longer available (you save shipping costs). Woman's stagecoach t-shirts sell out FAST.

Typically have a really good CD booth with all the music that the artists for the weekend performing for sale. I was soooo glad I bought the Best of for NickleCreek because they broke up right after Stagecoach 07 and I fell in love with them.

BBQ is just the best so get there early each day. They sell out FAST

Yes, the BBQ is the way to go for food. We didnt eat anything else inside. Last year it was something like $10 for 5 tickets (right?) and each ticket got you a sample. The samples were huge! Three of us split a set of 5 tickets each day.

And like someone else mentioned, the women's SC shirts sold out and I didn't get one last year -- had to settle on a mens shirt that only gets worn to the gym.

I saw people with the Texas Twisters last year and they didn't look yummy, so I didnt bother. I guess I'll have to this time around. We lived off of said BBQ and frozen lemonades.

And one last thing...I will make it my mission to try funnel cake this year, as i've never tried it. I know, I know..what's wrong with me?!

after googling I found several texas twister vendors, there has been a texas twister booth for the past 2 years, I don't think they would mess with a good thing, hopefully they will be there. The BBQ is the way to go. You get to try a little of everything. The funnel cake was great but had it on Sunday when it was windy...

The texas tea sounded really good but ended up being a little sweet for me, however I did have a few of the frozen lemonades.

They also have tons of booths of stuff to buy. Boot Barn was there last year most places sold hats, shoes, clothing, belts, western home goods. Just make sure to bring cash!

If you plan on buying shirts, make sure to do it the first day. There was nothing left the second day!

The bbq was amazing and a good deal, but it also sold out fast so make sure you get to it early on.

The Texas Teas were yummy!! --especially with the mini bottles of rum I brought in. =)

Here is an attempt to get back on topic..lol.

I've heard so much about the BBQ at SC. They have the $10 deal where you get to try 6 different BBQ booths with 2oz of meat from each booth. Is that correct? Has anyone ever done this? Is this the way to go?

The bbq is sooooo good!! I think it was 5 tastes but I could be wrong. They give you tickets and you turn them in at the various booths for a test. It was yummy!! But go early because they ran out fast!
