first year going and we got a eldorado 1 tow pass and were bringin a truck with a trailer...but is the tow pass only good for the trailer??

No your tow pass is so your truck can be parked by your rig.

Tow pass, is NOT a camping pass!
You need an ED1 Camping Pass to camp, tow pass is just for additional vehicle

If you have a trailer...and you are using your truck to pull it in...you do NOT need a tow pass if you already have an EDI ticket!!!
A tow pass is mainly for people with RV;s that they pull their little tool around cars behind it...for the SECOND steering wheel. NOT the main truck that pulls your trailer...for that you only need your RV pass.
I know this is always the biggest question every year...and it is confusing...but hopefully this clears it up.
Sooooo...you may want to sell that tow pass now that you wont need it??
