I bought a GA ticket for myself and have now decided to take my mom. I know they say general admission tickets, but my ticket has a section, row and seat and I want to make sure if I get a ticket for my mom, we can sit together. Is GA really GA, or do even GA have specific seats? thanks... Leah

There are no seats for GA.
Purchasing a general admission ticket gets you into the festival. You are free to wonder from stage to stage and all over to enjoy the wide variety of music and other activities. There are various shaded area's with places to sit down and enjoy a meal or rest from roaming around through out the day.
Artists will perform in four distinct performance areas including the main stage, an alt-country stage, a bluegrass stage and a storytelling area making for two jam-packed days of music. It all takes place at the breathtakingly beautiful Empire Polo Field, the same site as the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival which is being held the week before.
Beyond the music, there will be a wide variety of art including country music memorabilia, antique cowboy gear, rawhide sculptures, western heritage installations and Americana folk arts. Additionally, music fans can look forward to activities like saddle making, blacksmiths, rodeo gear, lasso and trail boss seminars, among others.
