We are tenting (1st timers) and we needed to know if there will be outlets in the tent area? Thanx

There were outlets surrounding the parking lot....in the lampposts. I went out and sat there for a bit and charged my phone.

They were kind of where we checked in--across from the check in tent.

Last year they had outlets next to the tent where we bought ice. They had them there specifically for that. It was convenient I tell ya.

went on a houseboat to lake mead for 7 days with 10 people in 110+ weather (best vaca). Two of the girls were "dates" for two of the guys and I laughed my ass off when I saw they brought blow dryers, curling irons, makeup, party dresses etc....

oh my gosh.. I can relate!!
when I went to dumont dunes last year.. I took my make up, and curling iron. never used either...!! but I do know better than to bring it on a houseboat!!

Well there are like 29 girls for each guy, so for the guys there will be plenty of outlets. If they can't get some at SC, they are really losers.

Once the cowboy hat goes on the hair is done in.
Once you mist your face the make-up is running down so no need to waste time there.
No need to iron clothes since your going to be all sweaty and wrinkled up anyway.
