Channel 4 news says that this weekend for Coachella will be really nice...mid 80's. Next week it should start working it's way to the 100's for us.

Will it be healed in time for stagecoach? I was going to get one on the top of my foot last year but it was too close to stagecoach and i did not want to have to worry about it that weekend.

After a week it should be scabbed and getting better...I'm usually off of the A&D ointment and on to Nivea lotion by then. If it's exposed, just keep it moist with some sunscreen - that's what I'd do at least. Probably keep a bandaid on it for part of the time....another funky tan line for you! ;)

See if you can use zinc oxide on it for sunscreen ... that tends to work really well on my rather large exhaust pipe burn scar on the inside of my leg ...

Mehh too!~ We have a house in Havasu, and a houseboat on Powell! Ahhhh 5 am wakeboarding on totally epic glass, like running a butter knife through butter!

Ever try Tegaderm patches?? I don't use ANYTHING else anymore on scrapes or blisters..... I SWEAR BY THEM!!

They are clear patches, (look kinda like scotch tape) there is no gauze padding stuff. The patch goes right on the clean wound. I swear it doesn't hurt! LOL!
Unlike bandages, the tegaderm breathes, keep the wound moist but not too moist, keep it clean, are totally waterproof and I have found my wounds heal faster and with less scarring....wouldn't work on large tatoos but small ones it might be perfect.....

And you don't change them! I tipped my bike on Sat, put one on the road rash and have been wearing it since...that includes, swim workouts, running, wet sauna, wearing jeans and cycling pants, cycling oh and lots of SHOWERS!! LOL!!

I just looked up the weather and I got 93 Thursday and 92 on Friday. That's still pretty warm. It says in the hundreds starting today till wensday. I'm glad I'm not there at coachella 101 today. Yikes

I've been doing that all week! I prefer msn for sure! I've been checking msn, weatherchannel.com and a 3rd site as a tie breaker because the first two have been about 20 degrees apart!

Yep that was her. She said the local weather reports are more accurate and they are saying it will cool down from what it is today. :)
