So, I'll be coming from Long Beach and the night before I'll be celebrating my 21st birthday.. woot woot! Which means I'll have a long night of drinking friday night. Now for saturday, I remember reading somewhere that it opens at noon, and parking at 9 (and I heard parking gets crazzzzzay, which I believe). Does anyone have suggestions on how I should approach this? I mean, I dont want to miss anything like, BRAD PAISLEY, or any of the other amazing people going to be there. I really don't want to have to wake up at 6 am, to get there around 9 and then have to sit in parking traffic forever. Doesn't sound toooo pleasant! Am I going to have to bite the bullet? Please tell me no. :(

check out google maps and find a back way in, there are several that will allow you to avoid the traffic crush

...and headliners won't be playing until early evening.

a good amount of people won't even begin arriving until mid afternoon so they don't have to deal with the probable heat.

also, i would take it easy friday night if you want any hope of making it through a whole day on the polo fields. it is a marathon, a hangover and all day music fest do not go together at all.

haha, thanks. i've seen you post replies on most of the questions. good insight!

ill try my best, although im only just turning 21.. i still know my limits. lots of gatorade and aspirin both friday and saturday night. ill be fine. hangovers arent my thang!

do you have any idea what time it ends? (horrible question, i want it to never end!) but i am travelling to palm springs that night, and ill obviously be exhausted.

thanks again!

I'd recommend you celebrate your 21st Bday there. You would have such a great time and you'd have 100s of people to help celebrate with you! Then you can stay up all night having a good time and not have to worry about getting up the next morning having to drive a few hours to get to the festival. Just so you know though, Brad and all of the other headliners won't be performing until late in the evening. All of the smaller acts are also good so I wouldn't recommend missing them. Hope this helps. We'll see you there!:D
