Hi all, this is our 1st festival, my husband and I and 3 kids (10-13). Here is my question- I know it says no saving spots, is there any way to get around that? I want to go with the kids on friday and set up and hang out, my husband practically doesnt want to go, so he will be dragging his heels and coming sometime saturday. Could I have my oldest wear his wristband (taped on or whatever, to get the 2 spots? We cant cram into one spot because we will have 2 tents. Or would it be possible to move our stuff on saturday to be by the spot they give him when he arrives? Should I just go on friday and hope for the best or play it safe and go together on saturday????
thanks for the advise!!!!!!

That's a tough one. The wristbands can't be removed/tampered with so you wouldn't want to go that route. The ones they hand out for the kids are different from the ones you and your husband will get. I'd say you're going to have to arrive together.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Only Way To Get Around It....Bring Both Tents On Friday. If You Have Both Tent Forum Tickets and Both Tents With Ya Then You Won't Have A Problem :)

Perfect! Then he can just call me when he arrives and I bring his ticket to the front? thanks for your advice!
Also, I read alot about the partying, is it over the top, or ok for older kids? Too bad there's not a family section in the tent area. Don't get me wrong Im not against partying!

Speaking of wrist bands, did you guys get any this year? Last year we got them in the mail

No wristbands this year. I think they're handing those and the parking decals out on site.

I'm bringing my 12 year old. The partying isn't too outrageous. Just depends in large part on who is camped next to you. There are plenty of kids around.
