My girlfriend already bought a forum ten spot before they sold out. An hour later I tried and had no luck. Can I go online and buy a RV people pass for the same amount of $50 and then stay with her in her 8x8 spot??
Loads of RV people here will sell you a people pass.

Yes, you can camp with her with a people pass. You will be limited to the one 8X8 spot unless you also buy a Forum camping pass. Check into it. Like Ms. Rose says, lots of people selling, especially the closer we get.

I'd rather not risk being kick out of the forum area at night. Does anyone know exactly how this works who has been before. Are they super strict about this kind of thing? or should I splurge on someone trying to sell me a forum tix for an absurd amount?

As mentioned..YES a PEOPLE RV pass gets you into the forum campground...that is what they are for as well as for the RV area. BUT the ONLY way you can get a FORUM tent spot is to have a FORUM ticket...so if you girlfriend has that...then you have a 8x8 space reserved for the two of you to share! Soooo...in laymens terms...between the two of you, you will need 1 forum ticket and 1 people ticket

and just so you dont get upset if that doesnt work, the official rule is every person camping in the forum needs a forum ticket, as stated on the website since day one. I dont want anyone with an rv people pass upset if they are not allowed to camp in the forum because they were given other information here.
Official website: http://stagecoachfestival.com/visitors/onsite-camping
Types of tickets for FORUM:
$50 (+ applicable charges) - Tent Camper People Pass. If you plan on camping in the Forum, EACH adult over age 14 needs this pass. You can share tents or spots but you still EACH need one of these passes to camp if you are over age 14. Kids 14 & under are free with legal guardian.

Oooops...guess we were wrong to assume it was like the past years.
Sorry guys..guess those are the rules. BUT...if the person has a tent pass...can they camp in someones RV instead?
This is gonna get sticky...hang on!!
But...I think that the verbage "dont be surprised" or "things may change" are unfair..either it IS or it ISNT allowed. Don't make people wait till they get their to find out that it is not what it has been in the past.
I also wonder this: Only about a small/very small percentage of people who actually camp even come on the SC website/boards...so how do they know? They are just going by what is normal. So to say it is "posted on SC website" is screwed for them. Does TM tell them the rules? Does it say on the tickets when they arrive that they can only camp in the forum if they buy a forum ticket and cant camp with a people pass?
I was even told by Mr. ____ from GV personally.........that there will be plenty of people that will want my "extra 4-6 rv people passes" that are "considered extras at $750" since many would only need 2 people in their RV's would want to buy our extras....guess not!???

I dont know how much more clear I can be. The rules are on the website.
if you get away with things that are against the rules, great.
that is why I said dont be surprised.
This is a public board and i dont want people to come here, get wrong info, and throw a fit at the festival. I am trying to give real info here.
xxoo :)

I'm Still Trying To Figure Out Why This Board Is Full Of So Many Questions That Are Answered Right On The Stagecoach Homepage??? It's Not Written In Chinese and Is Pretty Specific (???)

It would require people to actually read the information. Some people are pretty helpless when it comes to doing that.

If they all just read the stagecoach site (for all questions)then they would not need any of you here on the forums.....LOL;):D:D:D

Yeah...why have the message boards. There are new people everyday and they are just innocently asking questions..not realizeing they have been asked 100000 times...and that is ok with me. This is gonna be that way each and every year.:D

I don't blame anyone for not wanting to go through umpteen threads to find out if their question has been asked. I do wish they'd read the rules before they ask though.
But, I am happy to help if I can. Just returning the favor from when I was a SC Virgin!

it's ok to put the "i" in piss. censoring it doesn't accomplish much if we all still know what is being said...

another inane question......lol
person is selling me their el dorado 2 campsite because they could not get an RV. So they purchased forum tent camping instead. The ED2 site comes with only 3 rv people camping passes beacuse seller wants to use the other 3 passes to stay in the tent forum camping.
If I am reading the previous correctly...can the seller do this?
sending the seller the link to this thread, etc.....there are tent camper people passes and rv people passes. I do not believe they are aware of this.
thanks in advance for your help
Rv people pass will NOT allow them to Forum/tent camp. They could visit the area but that is about it.
I'm not a camper but it is all over these boards.

Your "seller" Is In For A Rude Awakening If He Thinks He Can Use His EDII Wristbands To Secure A Camping Spot In The Tent Forum. Funny

yup .....!!!! they just realized it.... I think one of their party has a tent forum ticket and has secured the spot. If I understand 'em correctly... they want to use the RV people passes to share the tent. I have an ed2 already so I am covered. They are referring to last year so I sent 'em copies of this thread. They are contacting GV.
I am ready to go and get my drink on............LET THE GAMES BEGIN !!!!!!!!!!
