Im going in thursday after work from LA by myself to get a spot with the RV, then waking up at 3:30am Friday and headed back to work. Im bringin the Harley in the back of the RV so im sure everyone will love me firing that up at 4am... Then after a short 2hr drive to work and a 10hr shift Im taking the brief 1.5hr drive down to HB to gather the crew (assuming their ready) and quickly driving the 3hrs on the 91 out to stagecoach. This might sound crazy but in my crazy mind I figure its better to get in early for a good spot and set up camp the way i want. (oh yeah also type A) Then when we finally arive Friday night together and everything is already set up... I just sit back with a stiff a$$ coctail and watch the later arivals set up. I love that part of watching other people set up, its like watching people back their boat trailers down the ramp on labor day!

ha ha ha .. I love watching people arrive!! So fun to watch them find a spot, maneuver into a spot and then get set up. oh my gosh... Katherines Landing over Labor Day.. great memories - husband and wife fights, boats not secured to the trailer, lost coolers, kids crying, people trying to back their trailers on the launch ramp..throw in a monsoon.... my kind of fun. Just contributing in my small way. I can't party like I'd like to with my 12 year old with me, sticking with a few beers, so I figure I can help feed those that can.

I'm gonna have a little hot food, some fruit pies, some blueberry loaf with butter....we'll see what else I come up with. I like to cook, I'm good at it. And, I like to feed people. :p

You can get those pies at Walmart for like 50 or 60 cents each. Individually packaged. They don't need to go in the fridge. Perfect for us don't you think?
