Hi guys,
Newbie to SC, and hoping someone can answer this easy question.
We are in EDI and was thinking about bringing our bikes. Do other people bring bikes? I think it would be a good idea.
What are your thoughts??
We'll be mixing some fun beverages and shots for anyone wanting to pop in and introduce themselves!
Thanks for your help,
Sunny

Bikes are definitely allowed and I would imagine would make the trip to the nearest store a little easier than getting in the car and then finding a parking spot again. I'm a newbie also but I'm sure the folks here will give some great advice on this topic. we'll take you up on that drink offer! Cheers!:D

I bring my ratty bike, in case I fall. It's all flat land, easy riding on grass. You won't need a bike for concert or Cyber Cafe nor the "bar" in ED1, but it could be a long walk to pals in ED2. I bring my bike because I don't walk very well & I need it to get around during the day. I like to cruise around looking at everyone's sites & meet people. It's also nice if you have a rack to carry ice back from the little store in ED1. But you really don't need one. Not like CA Speedway w/paved roads to cruise on little hills, this is all grass & flat. If I wasn't crippled, I'd walk rather than hassle w/a bike. (you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone)

Bring a good lock - many park their bikes along the fence just outside the campground entry to SC - locked.....
