Does anyone know when the gates will open or when they will open the parking lots? I want to get there super early to get good seats, but I don't want to have to sit at the grocery store waiting for the parking to open. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Which parking lots are you talking about? I think non-rv parking opens at 9 and gates at noon.

I think the FAQ page said all of the regular non-RV parking lots are free of charge and open at 9 AM.....let me know if I recall that right or not. Just a thang I remember from 07 they were all dirt lots and about a 10 minute walk on dirt paths to the front gate, so if you have flip flops your feet will be filthy from walking to the venue from the parking lots, FYI.

last year there were several people offering pedi-cab rides or golf cart rides at a small charge from the lots to the gates.... as well...

thanks for the answers. After much thought, I think it would be a smart idea just to do the tent camping. Sounds like fun!

Never heard mention of it. Did you check the information page for onsite camping?

I did but it is so confusing, it's our first time so we just want to make sure we can park our trailer in the parking lots before we decide to get a camp site at a rv park.

Anyone know anything about rv parking for non over night camping.
There is a lot that costs $25 for Rv parking..you can actually stay in your rig overnight there, but no showers, bathrooms etc...and you cant get into the regular campgrounds...no in/outs to the festival..just RV overnight parking.
As far as you arriving in an RV but plan to leave right after the shows, well, I am sure they will find a place to park your rig.
