Ha - I'll be spending a lot of time in the "tips and tricks" posts, that's for sure.
usually I take it "one concert at a time" and plan accordingly but the next two are already planned out and SC is such a biggie. I need to follow FF's plans and start making me a list.

how exciting! i remember the drive home last year being & so excited about 2009s and it sounded soooo far and now here we are with 40 days to go!!!! yay!
You also have to remember that with now 39 days to go...
I know I will be taking off for SC on Friday so thats 38 days and most of you that are RV'ing it's on 37 more days away!!!

The next 37 days for me is gonna be busy! Packing to move, starting back to nursing school 3/30 full time. DMV appt to get my Class C non comm so I can LEGALLY pull my 5th wheel!!. have a few beers AFTER the test, Get son his license, Dr. appts for school. Eye Dr., pick up sons car from impound yard, cook St Patty's meal, relax with a few beers, Spring break for the kids, daughter visiting from college next two weeks. Packing the boys for their annual fishing trip, same wknd as SC!! Pick up my winning tickets from KFROG early April (at least that is what they said... Packing for ME for SC09 (i know, I know...all I need to pack is my beer, jeans, boots, shirts, buckle, belt and hat, and clean undies, just in case...) OH..and REMEMBER MY CAMPING AND SC TICKETS. Have a few more beers. Ok..I KNOW i am missing something!

I'm still trying to decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing! I was looking forward to a weekend away (FROM EVERYTHING,) but I really do like to spend some time with him away from the kids.
As far as the kids, we have found a babysitter for our trip to Hawaii in June, and so we are planning on asking her to watch them for the weekend of Stagecoach as well.
I didn't have to bribe -- actually my husband had a conversation with some drunk guy at a bar last night who told him that he'd better spend some quality time with me or else he'll be SOL. ;)

I went shopping yesterday for larger storage memory cards for my camera but they were sold out. I had a problem Saturday night taking too much video and ran out of memory space. I'm not going to let that happen at SC and I have to plan for two days worth. Looks like a trip to Wally World is in order. Plus I have to remember to get a new bandanna for that horrible wind that whipped that sand up my nose and throat.

Excellent tip! My camera takes 2 AA's and I bring an eight pack just for the camera.
Thank goodness I gave away my camera that took regular batteries. I would eat through an 8 pack of AA batteries each day at SC. The new camera has a rechargeable battery and lasts a very long time. It also takes video and I'm trying to take more and get comfortable doing so, that's why I need the extra memory.

This weekend is for getting my hair cut. I think hair cuts look best about two weeks out. I stopped dying mine a couple of months ago and have decided to embrace the white. It's finally prep time.

OK, got the hair cut. Actually got it cut this time instead of just barely allowing the lady to even trim it. Yes, I am that bad. I go into full scale 'OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING?' mode whenever you get anywhere near my head with a pair of scissors.
Anyway, I had her take 4 inches off. Can't sit on it anymore, but it does look much healthier!
I just have to stop myself from thinking about how long the pieces were that she was cutting off.......

I think I'm officially in panic mode -- I have to clean out the trailer from last weekend in So Lake Tahoe...I have repairs to make (fridge isn't working in the rig)...our truck is being serviced and body damage fixed (due to be completed 4/22!)...I still don't know who is officially staying with us...I pretty much have my concert ticket, but my husband doesn't...my babysitter hasn't officially confirmed for the weekend.

Ugh, next wkend I'm camping in the Sierra's, THIS was the wkend I was supposed to prepare for 3 camping trips...dang...actually, I got alot done, & I will get to test some recipes & plan my menu's & empty some bottles so I can bring FULL ONES to SC! hee hee...at least I got most of my NASCAR gear out so I have room for my hubby & guests. Yes, y'all plan & get that list ready cuz I'm gonna need it in my 2 day turn around. Next wkend will be my test run, practice for heavy drinkin' & redneck fun.

Cant believe only 11 more days!! unfortunately 4 out of the 6 of us have bailed out on going and its just going to be me and my best friend who i went with last year! Its ok we had amazing time! only thing im worried about is putting up our tent..ive never put up a tent in my life....im usually the one standing in the background avoiding anything and everything in fear of breaking something! ha! so if you all see 2 girls struggling to put up a most likely very simple tent.....laugh with us not at us! anyway i think im going to have 2 tent tickets to get rid off but i dont want to post a thread on it until im for sure not inviting other friends....yay! im so excited!!!!!!!!!!

did i ever tell you about the time i missed out on Brooks & Dunn to go the Sugarland M&G and CD signing at sc07... only to be cut LITERALLY as my turn was next....?
well B&D are AMAZING. FOR SURE on my top 10 all time but sugarland is currently tied for third so in my book you made the right choice even if u went home empty haanded, you at least get a photo???

Just need to get food and beverages this weekend...and pack everything up.
I plan on trying to mix some sort of drink up to have it ready and cold to drink...but we'll see how that goes. Never tastes as good as they do when a bartender makes it...this is why I usually stick to beer.
