Just found out that Blake Shelton is playing tonight at the Grove of Anaheim!
How did I not hear about this??? Blake Shelton is one of my favorite country artists and someone I've never seen him even after years of going to Stagecoach and CMA Fest. Seems like I've seen just about everyone but Blake.
Anyone interested in going to the show? Tickets are $40 or $50 and if we buy tickets at the Grove there shouldn't be any additional fees. None of my country music friends can make it on short notice so I thought I'd post to see if anyone here is interested in checking out the show.
I haven't posted here since last year's stagecoach, I don't know if anyone's even reading this in March or if the same people (ahem... flakes ;) ) are here from last year but if anyone's reading this and wants to carpool from L.A. or meet up in Anaheim let me know.

Oh man... I'm on crack. I heard one of the DJ's on Go Country mention it last night and I swear they said it was tonight. They must've said "this Friday" or something like that and got me confused.
Funny, I even checked out ticket prices at Ticketbastard and didn't pay any attention to the date.
OK, so I'm a big dork. Boy am I glad I saw this reply because I was going to head out there in a few hours :eek:

I really need to check in here more regularly. I just found out about the Luke Bryan show at HOB thanks to the forum. I think I'll be getting tickets for that show.
I missed out on Jason Aldean because I didn't find out about it until after it was sold out. I bet I would have known in time if I dropped in here more often. I may go to HOB the night of the show to see if they release last minute tix or if I can get something scalped. I only live a few minutes from Hollywood HOB.

This is a very, very informative forum! But you have NOT missed Jason...check out wagonwheelfestival.com!! He will be there..would love to have your on those boards also!
This venue will be awesome to see artists up close and personal in a Festival setting!

Well I remember you but I don't appreciate being called a flake. It was a LONG walk over to the "meeting spot" from the campground and we were a little late. I've already apologized and don't really feel like doing it again.
As for Blake Shelton, I plan on seeing him when he comes to the fair. Too hard to get down to OC on a work night.

That's during football season and on a football weekend so it's out of the question. I haven't missed a home or road USC football game in 17 years so that's out fo me.

I haven't been on here since the morning SC08 started so if there's been any discussion about the group meeting I missed it. And the comment wasn't directed at anyone in particular but all the people who didn't show up that day.
Anywho, I got my tix to the show and can't wait to see Blake!
